Another corner bang on the money and there was Domagoj Vida right on the penalty spot. There were so many players in the penalty box but it only hit one head, and he was unmarked. Clean header and what an important goal.

The players ran away in delirious celebration for that goal. They have had all the ball in the last half an hour.

Vida gets himself a yellow card too for waving his shirt around in the air.

    Domagoj Vida

What a soft, soft goal for Russia to concede!

A corner is played in and Domagoj Vida heads it into the ground, towards the far corner. Vedran Corluka is in the way of the keeper's eye sight and it bounces straight past several defenders before rolling into the net.

Dejan Lovren almost gave Russia a golden opportunity. He switched off for a moment, playing a loose ball and it's cut out by Aleksandr Golovin.

Aaron: Both teams coming through Ro16 and QF via extra time and potentially penalties; England will be loving this, with the pace they have to burn. Particularly if Russia win out; their aging backline won’t fancy Sterling, Lingard and Rashford rushing at them.

Sean: These Croatia subs are WEIRD. TAKING OFF Perisic their best player And then taking off Kramaric their goal scorer!!! Something is up...

Roshimon: Both these sides have experienced penalties in this World Cup So they wouldn't be too nervous

Russia just can't get it forward at the moment. Croatia are controlling the ball and Luka Modric has made more darting runs from midfield in the last half an hour than he did in the first.

Sime Vrsaljko is down on the floor for Croatia now.

And he could be going off. That means Danijel Subasic would be staying ON. Luka Modric is pleading with Vrsaljko to continue. He doesn't want to risk it.

Croatia really don't want to have to make a change here.

Aleksandr Golovin swings a corner in and keeper Danijel Subasic doesn't come out to claim it. He's clearly struggling.

Instead, the ball bobbles around before Croatia eventually get it clear.

I still can't call this one. Possession wise, Croatia have been great but Russia have done what they have done all competition and they have sat back and gone heal for leather in defence.

But you can't win a match by defending all game and they will have to put Croatia under some pressure in extra time.

Big Stan doesn't seem too unhappy with this. Ivan Perisic be will the one frowning right now.

At this point you just feel there is more about the home side - thanks to their incredible support.

Andrew: That injury to Subasic could have a huge impact on the outcome of this game, especially if it makes it to penalties. He was superb in the shootout victory over Denmark. He’s battling on, but is he fully fit?

It was all a dream: The Croatian physio just healed a pulled hamstring on the pitch. The player is continuing. The man is a magician!

Arun: There is a lot of itch in this Croatian side
