Ben: Time for the big one! FRA v BEL! I think FRA will just do enough but I hope it'll be a tight and exciting match.

Michael: Hoping for a dirty game tonight, 2 red cards each & go all the way to penalties. Is that too much to ask?

Roshimon: Good luck to both teams. Hopefully it's gonna be a treat

I fancy France. I think their individuals will be too strong. I think the attacking players will scare the life out of the back three.

  4. 'Pogba has gone under the radar'published at 18:53 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on BBC One

Paul Pogba has gone under the radar a little bit. N'Golo Kante has helped him as the holding midfielder because he has more freedom. He has been very efficient. He is always looking to pass the ball forward then run beyond them. He is always looking to hurt the opponent.

  5. Postpublished at 18:53 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

I think Jurgen meant that as a compliment...

  6. Importance of Pogba and Mbappepublished at 18:53 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Jurgen Klinsmann
Former Germany head coach on BBC One

Paul Pogba is a huge weapon.

He always looks forward and sees where his team-mates are, he plays terrific final passes.

Kylian Mbappe is a player you would love to develop and help make the next move .

He is still raw but has unbelievable speed and is technically very gifted. He creates something out of nothing.

He is constantly on the move, we will have a lot of joy with this guy over the next 10-15 years.

  8. 'Giroud will score tonight'published at 18:52 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Olivier Giroud is reliable and he is very clever at link up play and bringing others into the game. He always scores important goals and I expect him to score tonight, because when he is needed, he always comes up with the goods.

  9. Postpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

Olivier Giroud has scored as many goals for France as Zinedine Zidane.

  10. 'Giroud is integral to team'published at 18:51 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle striker on BBC One

Olivier Giroud has been an integral part to this team. Far more positives than negatives. He brings people into the game. His finishing could improve but he has an impressive record for France. He will give them things like assists and link-up play.

  11. 'Varane is on another level'published at 18:51 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC One

Raphael Varane is on another level and he is a Rolls Royce. If I was Romelu Lukaku, I would be trying to get the better of Samuel Umtiti rather than Raphael Varane.

  12. 'Create and fight'published at 18:49 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    BBC One

France 1998 World Cup winner Christian Karembeu: "I hope France win it, but there is an obstacle in Belgium to lift the beautiful Fifa trophy again.

"After the wins against Argentina and Uruguay, you see they are a team and there is a collective game. Hopefully they will express all their skill and talent.

"Belgium play five midfielders meaning France need to create and fight to win the game.

"If we win, we will have great confidence to beat Croatia...or maybe England in the final."

Whoever wins tonight will probably be favourites in Sunday's final. So I'd imagine Gareth Southgate and the rest of the England camp will be hoping for extra time and penalties...

  14. France v Henrypublished at 18:47 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle striker on BBC One

Thierry Henry knew when he accepted this position that this could happen to him. It could be an interesting night looking at his face on the bench.

    Marouane Fellaini is intimidating.

In the warm-up, you smell each other, looking how they are doing. If you look at him, you think I don't want to deal with him.

The body language, the presence is what Fellaini has. You do not want physical contact with him.

That is a big plus for Belgium.

Rachel: Cannot help but love Roberto Martinez

BtheG: No disrespect to Croatia & England, but the final won't be as good as this game!

David: Down to the last four teams, and tonight is going to be hard to call

  17. 'Fellaini will affect the game'published at 18:44 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

World cup 2018: Marouane Fellaini header completes Belgium comeback

Marouane Fellaini can go in as a number 10, arrive late in the box and cause problems. He can be clumsy but effective. He doesn't even know he hurts you some times. He won't hurt you with the ball at his feet, he won't dictate play but he will affect the game in the right way.

  18. 'This should have been the final'published at 18:42 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on BBC One

This should have been the final because there are some wonderful sides on this side of the draw, and they are all knocking each other out.

  20. Belgium's 'devastating' attackpublished at 18:41 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle striker on BBC One

It is devastating the way Belgium hit you with the pace and guile on the counter attack. You blink against these guys and they can get you.

It might be different tonight because they could be restricted with N'Golo Kante sitting in there.
