    France 0-0 Belgium

A third of the 90 minutes gone. Very high standard, good watch but no goals yet.

Don't forget that we can have extra time and penalties tonight if required.

    France 0-0 Belgium

We're having one of those rounds in the boxing where both fighters are just happy to get throught it unscathed. No punches landed for a good few minutes.

Hello though! All of a sudden Kevin de Bruyne beats his man and puts in a dream low cross, it's going to be a tap-in for Romelu Lukaku until Samuel Umtiti cuts it out at full stretch. A big blowout of the cheeks. Relief.

Femi: Belgium are asking all the questions!

DJ: How many players here are or have been at Chelsea? Not a clue what they were thinking letting some of these guys walk

David: It's criminal that the winners of this could be robbed of the title by a bunch of mediocrities on Sunday.

A moment of detente as both sides just take a breather. France enjoy some steady possession. You can see that these two sides are very well matched. You'd have to agree that this would have made a good final.

Brilliant save by Hugo Lloris against his Tottenham teammate Toby Alderweireld. France are under pressure here but they still look a threat when they go forward. It's a fascinating battle.

What a save that was from Hugo Lloris. One to bear in mind when rating the players, which you can do here.

  9. 'Superb'published at 19:22 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

Lloris read it well and made it look fairly easy but it is a superb save.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 22 mins

    France 0-0 Belgium

Good save that man! From the corner, Toby Alderweireld swivels and digs out a shot off his left foot, it's curling into the top corner and Hugo Lloris is away and flying to his right to claw it out.

We can't all be Harry Maguire.

Excellent defending again from Varane to stop Marouane Fellaini from getting on the end of a cross. The Red Devils are building up a head of steam.

    France 0-0 Belgium

    Danny Murphy
    Former England midfielder

Paul Pogba should have come across to help Benjamin Pavard there. Eden Hazard will beat anybody one-on-one but what a header that is by Raphael Varane to clear the danger.

  13. Kante v De Bruynepublished at 19:19 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    France 0-0 Belgium

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

We wondered if N'Golo Kante would be looking after his Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard, but Kante has spent more of his time watching out for Kevin de Bruyne.

    Goal-saving intervention!

That is brilliant from Raphael Varane as he gets the very crown of his head up to divert an Eden Hazard drive over the top. That nearly hit the bar, so, so close!

    Game's livening up a treat.

Kylian Mbappe is one of the most exciting players to watch in the world, his touch and acceleration rewrite the rule book. He skips away from two men as if they weren't there, the cross is cut out and Blaise Matuidi hits a very crisp shot indeed from 20 yards, straight at Thibaut Courtois.

It is a foot wide, it is a very difficult angle, but had Eden Hazard looked up, Romelu Lukaku was standing all on his own by the penalty spot.

  18. CLOSE!published at 16 mins

    France 0-0 Belgium

Unlucky! Belgium press high and win the ball back, finds Eden Hazard just inside the area and just onside, he snaps a shot away on his left foot, tricky angle and it skims across and wide!

    Good effort.

  19. Excellent Pogbapublished at 19:15 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    Danny Murphy

Great feet from Paul Pogba who went past Mousa Dembele and nearly put Kylian Mbappe in with a through ball. Pogba has had an excellent tournament. He has shown a range of passing and a discipline in defence.

Belgium bringing in Dembele for this game just shows how ridiculous the standard of this team is. Great selection in this game.
