Brilliant football by Croatia. They didn't have a kick in the first half but they have carved some fantastic chances in the last 20 minutes.

England teams over the years always seem to run out of legs a bit in the last 20 minutes of games.

Raheem Sterling is still searching for his first England goal since 2015.

He touched the ball 22 times in the 74 minutes he was on the pitch but after an impressive start to the game, Sterling was starved of service after the interval as England found themselves under pressure.

England have weathered the storm a bit in the last few minutes. We should have gone behind but we hung on.

The back three, which were so important in the first half, suddenly lost their shape and their ability to bring the ball out which is why we are losing possession.

England's defence have gone here. Kieran Trippier plays a blind backpass and Harry Maguire bails him out but almost slots past Jordan Pickford!
