Harry Kane is pushing really high up onto the Croatian backline. They are having to defend really deep. It's clever from Kane but I wouldn't be having that if I was a defender. You have to defend further up the pitch

No sooner do I type that and Raheem Sterling gets the ball in the area, he wriggles past Domagoj Vida but the defender makes a decent last-gasp tackle. There's a sign of danger at the other end but Kyle Walker puts the afterburners on and eats up the turf.

Dion Dublin is confident that Raheem Sterling will finally end his goal drought tonight. He's played very well.

Kieran Trippier is not afraid to get forward. He is having some success down the right side and getting some decent crosses into the box.

England's goalscorer has also touched the ball more than any other player wearing white so far - 48 times in the opening hour.

England are half an hour away from a place in the World Cup final.

England have started a bit low key in the second half. We haven't been too stretched but we haven't kept the ball as well as we did in the first half.

We've just got to keep possession a bit better because I think Croatia are starting to get on top at the moment.

Jordan Pickford punches it out well. Raheem Sterling holds up the ball really well. Well played. Dejan Lovren shoves Jesse Lingard away. He's looked rattled all night.
