    He meets a through ball inside the box and closes in on goal, sees the goalkeeper sprinting towards him and tries to con the referee by diving over the challenge.

    Ref Marco Guida from Italy blows his whistle and whips a yellow card out in the direction of Sterling.

    Good decision.

    Nigeria's fans need no encouragement to raise the noise levels and they have turned them up to deafening after that goal - they have made a huge contribution and are really roaring their team on now.

    Bit of a punch on the nose for England after such a comfortable first half.
