We are expecting Fred (the Red) to start tonight.
There will be plenty of new players on show this summer - including the two most expensive goalkeepers of all time. Alisson broke Gianluigi Buffon's long-standing record when he joined Liverpool for an initial £55.8m, rising to £66.8m, but less than a month later, Chelsea signed Kepa Arrizabalaga for £71m - with Thiabut Courtois leaving Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid.
Riyad Mahrez left Leicester for £60m to join Manchester City, who had been expected to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho - but who joined Chelsea instead.
Liverpool did their business early in the window, while new Arsenal manager Unai Emery also brought in a new keeper - £19m Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen. He also signed Stephan Lichtsteiner, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

Jose Mourinho rarely smiled last season and his expression hasn't changed after a summer of frustration.
Several transfer targets were identified but failed to materialise and it seems the United boss doesn't fancy his chances of closing the considerable gap on champions City with the pool of players left at Old Trafford.
Leicester have finally cashed in on Riyad Mahrez but they've shown characteristic resolve to rebuff United's interest in Harry Maguire.
The England World Cup hero only returned to training on Monday but is still in line to start. Jamie Vardy is less likely, as Kelechi Iheanacho has been scoring goals aplenty in pre-season.

It was pouring down in Manchester earlier, but the clouds are rapidly clearing above Old Trafford now... is there still a little one hovering above Jose Mourinho's head though?

Speaking of rays of sunshine, it's a lovely evening in Manchester, having been rainy and cloudy earlier in the day.
The perfect conditions to kick off a new season. Indeed, as I type, the sprinklers are out in force just a few hundred yards away on the Old Trafford pitch.
Team news coming in half an hour.

What a ray of sunshine Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been in pre-season - almost being followed around by a little black cloud over his head.
This will have to disappear the moment Leicester City arrive at Old Trafford for the opening game because it is now Mourinho's third full season at United and for all his apparent dissatisfaction he has still had plenty of financial backing to build this side.
Mourinho will clearly be frustrated by his failure to add that central defender he wanted so desperately but the addition of £50m Brazilian Fred will give him even more creativity.
If he can clear away those clouds then United can still have a serious impact this season - but the manager simply must cut a more positive figure than the rather defeatist individual that has been seen so far this summer.

The stats don't make such positive reading for Leicester. They have won only three of their 44 top-flight away matches against Manchester United. Their only Premier League victory at Old Trafford came in February 1998 when Tony Cottee scored the solitary goal.

Manchester United have won their opening Premier League match on an unrivalled 17 occasions. Their only opening-day defeat at Old Trafford in 14 games came against Swansea in 2014.

Leicester's owners have kept faith with manager Claude Puel - although he needs to make a decent start - and have backed him in the transfer marker after losing the talismanic Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City.
Keeping Harry Maguire, an England World Cup hero, away from the attentions of Manchester United was a big statement of continued ambition and his defensive partnership with the under-rated Jonny Evans will be a cornerstone.
James Maddison showed real quality for Norwich City in the Championship while Jamie Vardy still has that scoring touch and ability to trouble the best
The big question is - can Puel get the best out of this squad?

Ryan: For all the hype this summer, how many of Liverpool’s new signings would start at Man Utd? Only Keita (possibly) IMO
Jake: Sad to see Mahrez go, certainly, but he's wanted to leave for 18 months now and we no longer have that cloud hanging over us. The players we bought actually fit our needs for a change. I'm as excited as I've been going into a new season.

The 31-year-old has scored 88 goals for the Foxes since moving to the King Power from Fleetwood Town in 2012.
"Everybody knows how I feel about playing for this club," said Vardy, who added that his time with Leicester has been an "incredible journey".
"It's a great feeling to know that I can look forward to another four years as a Leicester City player."

Alan Shearer
Former England captain
This time last year, everything at United seemed very upbeat and optimistic, but now there seems to be a different mood around the club, and their manager.
Jose Mourinho has had the grumps all summer and when you compare his character now to the way he was when he first arrived in the Premier League with Chelsea in 2004, it is chalk and cheese.
Back then he was happy, witty and arrogant, and seemed to always speak with a smile.
These days, he is far more likely to have a frown on his face - and it seems as if he wants to fight everyone.
I can understand his frustration, because every manager wants a bigger and better pool of players than they have already got.

Leicester City
The club’s owners kept faith with manager Claude Puel, despite the team’s poor form since mid-December. Michael Appleton departed as assistant manager and was replaced by Jacques Bonnevay as part of a restructuring of the backroom team.
Leicester’s King Power Stadium will host its first England game for 15 years – a friendly against Switzerland on 11 September. Riyad Mahrez left for a club record £60m but Harry Maguire stayed.
