For all his hard work and endeavour tonight...if Sanchez could pass to JUST ONE of his teammates tonight, that would be great...

Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
Into the last 10. Can we get a second goal? Ben Chilwell has been very good today but he should do better with a cross, he puts too much on it and it's clear through the area and out.
Marouane Fellaini is coming on. You know what that means.

I was just waiting for the net to nestle. One-on-one, eight yards out, but Kasper Schmeichal spreads himself so big, it's a great save.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
Great save or a terrible miss?!
A bit of both. Leicester are stretched and get themselves in a pickle at the back, United have two-on-two and Alexis Sanchez plays the right pass, square to Romelu Lukaku. He's only about 10 yards out and onside, Wes Morgan just stops playing, anticipating the second goal. But Kasper Schmeichel spreads himself like his old man and saves with a foot.
Should be two!

Luke Shaw is shouting at the linesman for not being awarded a free-kick, but he was outwitted by Jamie Vardy to win the ball back for Leicester. Important save by David De Gea, again.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
That's the end of Fred's Manchester Unietd debut, he gets a hearty ovation as he is subbed by Scott McTominay. Demarai Gray then shoots wildly over from miles out.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
There is a chance though! Luke Shaw is sleepy at the back, Jamie Vardy flies across to win it from him with a fine tackle, Vardy then skims a great low cross in and Demarai Gray meets it on the volley. Saved by David de Gea!
Wasn't in the corner but he was not far out at all. Good save.

Jose Mourinho can't have much to complain about when it comes to Paul Pogba tonight.
He made the Frenchman his captain. He has seen him score what could be the match-winning penalty and he has just applauded him warmly for an innocuous-looking run out of defence that earned the hosts a throw-in.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
Leicester were good in the first half and rather unlucky to be behind but they haven't done enough since. They haven't had a shot on goal since the interval. Played OK but they need to do more.

Man United have got the lead and now it is down to game management. It's down to the seniors to make sure they don't give chances away and start the season with a nice 1-0 win.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
(I don't think I have seen every game but) I haven't seen Alexis Sanchez have a good game for Manchester United yet. He's not done much tonight again, so understand where you're coming from Paul and Robin.
Luke Shaw has been competent, tidy. No complaints at all.
Alexis Sanchez has a chance to make me eat my words but instead he loses the ball.

Paul: Rather have seen Rashford switched to left wing and Sanchez hooked for Lukaku
Robin: Just how badly does Sanchez have to play in order to get subbed? Worst player on the pitch tonight.
Dorian: Is it just me or is Luke Shaw looking pretty decent tonight for United?
Another fairly wild challenge from a United player, Andreas Pereira this time, he's over the top of the ball and he's in the book as a result. Andre Silva took a whack but he should be OK.

I don't think Wes Morgan and Harry Maguire will want to see a player of Romelu Lukaku's quality come on, with this long left in the game.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
A first look at new winger Rachid Ghezzal, dancing into the penalty area but there's no end product, out he comes and Demarai Gray's cross is then headed out.
David de Gea hasn't had a thing to do in this half.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
Here comes Romelu Lukaku to replace Marcus Rashford. He hasn't done much tonight in all honesty, and the big man gets a big reception. Twenty-seven goals for the Belgian last season.
Man Utd 1-0 Leicester
The game has instantly opened up as Leicester go for it, emptying midfield. Paul Pogba plays a great ball forwards to Alexis Sanchez, he turns inside Wes Morgan and tees up Juan Mata on the edge of the area.
Wide! Deflected, not given,

Tonight is the first time Jose Mourinho has been without his right-hand man Rui Faria for a Premier League game.
Faria stood down from his role as Mourinho's long-time assistan at the end of the season to spend more time with his family.
Former United midfielder Michael Carrick is now on the bench, as is Kieran McKenna, who has impressed in his role with the youth ranks since coming north from Tottenham.
It is Silvino Louro who is liasing with Mourinho from the bench though.

Of all the times you would want Eric Bailly to stay on his feet and not dive in, he does exactly that and he defended perfectly.
