It's a world-class save. The shot comes in form 10 yards, in full force, but David De Gea puts his arm out and forces it away from danger.

James Maddison is going to get assists in the top flight, no doubt. He's very close to a lovely ball through. Oh and he nearly scores!

What a save by David de Gea, Maddison turns and shoots from no more than 10 yards out, it would beat most keepers but De Gea is not most keepers and makes a flying one-handed save!

From the corner another effort comes in and is deflected over. Leicester tails are up!

Unorthodox from Eric Bailly, reaching to meet a cross with a very high boot and clearing with his studs from in front of Kelechi Iheanacho. I recall Bailly scoring an own goal last season after getting in a weird starting position and that was similar.

Leicester's good spell has got their fans making some noise - although the United faithful won't like it.

"Just like Leicester, this city is blue," sing the Foxes fans, who have also been chanting about how they have won the league more recently than United.

The Premier League is well and truly back. It's end to end, littered with errors and touches of quality in equal measure. The crowd is up, the game is bouncing along. Lovely.

That must have been the shortest warm up ever for Romelu Lukaku just then.

As Marcus Rashford was receiving treatment Jose Mourinho signalled for the Belgian striker to get off the bench.

Lukaku just about managed to get his orange training bib on as he ran down the touchline, before the signal went out for him to come straight back in again.

Well played Marcus Rashford! Daniel Amartey has the ball in the right-back spot for Leicester but has his pocket well and truly picked by the alert Rashford, but he can't find a team-mate in the middle. That move, United's first for a while, was started by Juan Mata switching it really nicely from right to left.

There's a cracking tempo to the game.

Alex: Don't get it twisted. Man U might have been gifted a pen and look dangerous on the counter in a headless chicken way, but Leicester are dominating this game. United getting hammered from the left. New season. Same story.

We may have started the night by joking that Jose Mourinho doesn't seem to be enjoying his work too much at the moment but I can tell you for an absolute fact that there is not a man alive who enjoys his job more than our own Dion Dublin.

There is not a spare red seat in the stadium. Leicester must have sold out the away end in their blue shirts as well. Old Trafford is jam packed. What a brilliant start to the season.

Claude Puel must be happy with this spell from Leicester. They look a real threat, although just as I say that James Maddison loses the ball in a dangerous area.

Still, 66% of the ball so far for the visitors, who trail to that early penalty.

Kelechi Iheanacho looked level to me on that replay. But much better from Leicester. Last year they opened the season on a Friday night and it ended up a 4-3 thriller.
