Chelsea made arguably the strangest signing of the summer on Thursday by bringing in Rob Green.

The 38-year-old goalkeeper could make his unofficial debut for the club this evening, he's also on the bench...

The Blues were boosted by the return of several of their first-team regulars this week as Willy Caballero, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Victor Moses all joined the squad following their exploits at the World Cup.

Maurizio Sarri goes with the same XI that beat Perth Glory last week, with Cesc Fabregas, who captains the side, joined in midfield by new signing Jorginho and Ross Barkley.

Luciano Spalletti, meanwhile, names a strong side which includes new signings Stefan De Vrij and Kwadwo Asamoah, and prolific striker Mauro Icardi.

Chelsea's preparations for 2018-19 look relatively light so far, and this match will be only their second game of pre-season, having claimed a 1-0 victory over Australian side Perth Glory on Monday.
