  3. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-1 Bournemouthpublished at 60 mins

    Callum Wilson (Bournemouth)

Great stuff. Callum Wilson picks up the ball just inside the West Ham half and he is able to quickly run at the home defence.

He has West Ham players around him, but he gets past a half-hearted Fabian Balbuena challenge, avoids a sliding tackle from Pablo Zabaleta and slots the ball past Lukasz Fabianski. Lovely goal. And we're level.

  4. YELLOW CARD - King (Bournemouth)published at 56 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

Jack Wilshere just got away with one, Joshua King is not so lucky and he sees yellow for fouling Fabian Balbuena.

  5. Postpublished at 55 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

Jack Wilshere, on his home debut, can count himself a bit fortunate to not get a yellow, sliding in late on Cherries captain Andrew Surman. Stuart Attwell keeps his cards in his pocket this time though.

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

Nearly an even worse day for Nathan Ake. Felipe Anderson's corner from the right wing hits the Dutch defender, who does not know anything about it. The ball is heading in, but Ryan Fraser on the goalline saves his team-mate's blushes.

  7. Postpublished at 50 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

Ex-Everton boss Ronald Koeman, now in charge of the Netherlands, is in the stands watching Bournemouth centre-half Nathan Ake.

Don't think Ronald will be too impressed with the challenge that gave West Ham a penalty.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 46 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

So close to a Bournemouth equaliser straight away in the second half. David Brooks, on the turn, shoots low, but once again the big frame of Lukasz Fabianski manages to get a hand to it. Great save.

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

We have seen footage again of what Bournemouth hoped would have been a penalty. The ball hit the arm of Fabian Balbuena, from close range from David Brooks' cross. Needless to say, it wasn't given.

    Remember these?

We take a club-by-club look back on all the England-based scorers at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

West Ham fans can enjoy a goal from Javier Hernandez in this video, but sadly for Bournemouth fans there are no goals from your players.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 18 August 2018

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

A good 45 minutes that. West Ham lead through Marko Arnautovic's penalty but Bournemouth are still very much in this one.

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

And at the other end Marko Arnautovic shoots low, curling it aiming for the bottom corner, but Asmir Begovic once again is down quickly and gets a hand to it to keep it out. Good game this one. Hammers lead 1-0

  15. CLOSE!published at 44 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

Should have done better. Bournemouth get a third corner, which is punched clear by Lukasz Fabianski but the ball is recycled into the box by Andrew Surman.

West Ham make an absolute hash of an attempted offside trap and David Brooks is free, eight yards out and central. But he only gets a poor contact with the header and glances it wide instead of on target.

  16. Postpublished at 42 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

David Brooks has looked lively for Bournemouth. He strikes at goal and it deflects off Arthur Masuaku for Bournemouth's second corner of the match, which comes to nothing.

  18. YELLOW CARD - Noble (West Ham)published at 38 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

First booking for West Ham, and it goes to the skipper Mark Noble for a late challenge on Ryan Fraser.

  19. Postpublished at 36 mins

    West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth

How vital will that Lukasz Fabianski save to deny Callum Wilson be when the score was goalless, just minutes before that West Ham spot-kick? It really was a fine piece of goalkeeping.

  20. goal

GOAL - West Ham 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 33 mins

    Marko Arnautovic (West Ham)

A lovely penalty. Hit low and hard to the left, Asmir Begovic goes the correct way but the penalty is too good, too well positioned right in the corner and West Ham lead.
