I think he is offside there you know! But the finish again is sublime. A lot of players would panic in that moment but Odsonne Edouard waits for the keeper to drop down and dinks it over him. Beautiful goal.

  8. 'Big goal for Celtic'published at 76 mins

    Celtic 3-1 Rosenborg

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

That is a brilliant goal and brilliantly taken. Was Odsonne Edouard offside? I think he is. I felt the centre-half was in line with him. What a big goal for Celtic.

    Odsonne Edouard

    They've got a third!

Odsonne Edouard gambolled on to a James Forrest pass, the flag stayed down, and the young Frenchman feathered an insouciant finish over Andre Hansen. Lovely stuff.

Olivier Ntcham! That ball wobbled like someone chasing the last bus after one drink too many! A panic-striken Andre Hansen followed its flight, though, and just managed to thrust a wrist into the ball's path en route to it smacking his crossbar.

Celtic need to frank this dominance with another goal...

  13. 'Lucky only a yellow'published at 66 mins

    Celtic 2-1 Rosenborg

    Scott McDonald
Former Celtic striker on BBC Sportsound

It depends on the kind of referee you get on the night and I think he has been lucky there not to only receive a yellow card.

I think the referee was close enough to see. Certainly, he was late and it was from behind. He deserves a yellow card and could easily have been a red card.

    Celtic 2-1 Rosenborg

Alexander Soderlund's first act since coming on a minute or two ago is to cement Scott Brown. It was from behind and was higher than is decent. He's perhaps fortunately to only see yellow.

And Soderlund's eventful introduction continued a moment or two later as Olivier Ntcham is booked for hauling the Rosenborg man back.

  16. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Celtic 2-1 Rosenborg

Close again for Celtic! Scott Sinclair had no real right to shoot from an acute angle on the left-hand side of the box, but he mustered a fierce, rising strike that Andre Hansen shovelled away. The look he just gave his defenders would curdle milk...

James Forrest picks up the ball, buys a ticket, and wins the raffle... or at least, he wins one of those scabby wee cuddly toys. Or he wins a corner. Whatever you prefer.

Regardless, the delivery is cleared. As you were.

    Celtic 2-1 Rosenborg

Tore Reginiussen leaves Callum McGregor sprawling and tries his best 'what, me?' face as Bart Vertenten waves a card at him. And from the free-kick, Odsonne Edouard flashes wide. This game is there for Celtic...
