  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 52 mins

    Celtic 2-1 Rosenborg

Ooft, Celtic are ramping it up now. Kieran Tierney slips inside to Callum McGregor, whose shot is deflected for a corner. Celtic take it short and McGregor loops an effort from wide off the back stick. Rosenborg are wobbling.

  2. 'Brilliant start to the half'published at 50 mins

Rosenborg haven't touched the ball in this second half! Celtic passed it around, worked their way up the pitch and then it is a lovely finish from Olivier Ntcham. A brilliant goal from Celtic's point of view and a brilliant start to the half.

  3. 'World-class goal'published at 48 mins

That was world-class. Absolutely world-class. Olivier Ntcham has been so impressive ever since he has come back for the new season. Hopefully now Celtic can kick on and go and get another one.

  4. goal

GOAL - Celtic 2-1 Rosenborgpublished at 46 mins

    Olivier Ntcham

What was that about a calmer half..?

I'm still trying to work out what Olivier Ntcham did to befuddle his marker there, but his outrageous drag back (?) manufactured some space and the midfielder arced a gorgeous finish over Andre Hansen and into the far corner. Sensational.

Back underway. Any chance of a calmer second 45..?

The Rosenborg goal was a desperate one. There were three big mistakes in that goal. Celtic will be a lot happier about their chances now but they gave that away goal away.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 25 July 2018

    Celtic 1-1 Rosenborg

Well, that goal hasn't half changed the complexion of this contest. Celtic Park has come to life and the hosts were pushing for a second as the half-time whistle peeped.

Right, who's getting the teas in..?

  14. 'Fantastic finish'published at 45 mins

It is just the lift they need. It is great play from Scott Sinclair but the drop of the shoulder from Odsonne Edouard is great. It is a fantastic goal and a fantastic finish.

Odsonne Edouard did so well! It is an enormous goal right before half time.

  16. goal

GOAL - Celtic 1-1 Rosenborgpublished at 43 mins

    Odsonne Edouard

There it is! Patient play by Celtic, shuttling the ball around the Rosenborg half probing for openings. Scott Sinclair gets a yard on the left, shifts inside and finds Odsonne Edouard, who takes a velvety touch and directs a composed finish low past Andre Hansen.

Celtic have been playing a 3-5-2 formation all the way through pre-season and it has been working well. To go to a different shape has just shaken them a bit, it seems. There is no fluidity to their play at all. It's all very slow in the build-up.

Bringthemonjpin: Celtic look like they need two keepers after a jittery start.

Dean uthman: C'mon guys! There is time, get the ball forward!

  19. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Celtic 0-1 Rosenborg

Celtic could really do without goalkeeper Craig Gordon almost ceding the ball at the edge of his own six-yard area. Dearie me. The anxiety is cascading down from the Celtic Park stands. It's suffocating.

  20. 'No question - penalty!'published at 34 mins

I think that was a certain penalty! Olivier Ntcham's legs were taken away from him inside the box. It was great play from James Forrest. No question! Should have been a penalty.
