That's more than a little high by Scott Brown, who plants his studs on the ankle of a Rosenborg player. Mercifully, the Celtic captain is let off with a yellow card. Lucky boy.

Pal Andre Helland's free-kick is deflected behind and Celtic clear the subsequent corner. Nervy stuff, this.

That's better. Callum McGregor stings the palms of Andre Hansen from the edge of the area.

Celtic have plenty of the ball here, and are getting into decent areas, but they are struggling to make an impression on the massed ranks of the Rosenborg defence.

There's a little bit of dissent tumbling down from the stands, too...

We can't say it wasn't coming. Jack Hendry was sloppy. He tries to play one square and it gets cut out. It's then great play on the right-hand side and Nicolas Bendtner does ever so well. He sees the run and it's slotted into the bottom corner. There was no way Craig Gordon could have got a hand to that. It's been too open from the start. You want to be open but not leave gaps.

I said before the game [height in the box] could be a problem. Nicolas Bendtner is attracting the attention of the two centre-halves. The midfielders need to track the runners. That is when Rosenborg can become dangerous.

Ooft, a couple of lucky escapes for the Scottish champions as Rosenborg threaten twice - both times from cross balls that flash across the penalty box without anyone getting a touch.

James Forrest is more or less playing like a second striker at the moment. Celtic are playing like a diamond shape when they are not on the ball. It is interesting Celtic have set-up like that. It's been too open for me though. It's a little worrying.

Celtic continue to be in the ascendancy, but they haven't created that many clear openings. Some interesting shape-shifting going on too...

That was terrific play from Odsonne Edouard. He loves cutting in from that left hand-side but unfortunately couldn't test the keeper.

Odsonne Edouard is fearsome once he gets shifting, too. Celtic's record signing cuts menacingly in from the left, but doesn't quite connect with his shot and skitters it straight at goalkeeper Andre Hansen.

Rosenborg are playing their usual 4-3-3 and are a threat on the break, with former Arsenal striker and Danish international Nicklas Bendtner a hulking presence at the apex of their attack. They've already made one or two ventures into Celtic's defensive third, but the hosts have repelled their advances.
