    Bournemouth 0-0 Leicester

Lovely stuff from James Maddison. Not short of confidence the lad. His little dink finds Jamie Vardy tearing into space to the left of Asmir Begovic's net, the now ex-England striker tries it first time but doesn't catch the ball cleanly, it goes bobbling behind. Great idea though.

    Chelsea 0-0 Cardiff

Early chance for Cardiff to test Chelsea with a corner - set pieces their best bet today? It's easily dealt with by the home defence and Pedro is almost set free on the counter, Joe Bennett with the intervention.

    Leroy Sane (2 mins)

Well, we were expecting goals but this is a rapid start from the Premier League champions. Fernandinho carries the ball forward down the left and it's three-on-two for City. They utilise the space well and it's slipped across the box where Leroy Sane is waiting to tap it in.

A rare start for Olivier Giroud for Chelsea, fresh from finally scoring for France over the international break. Quite the strike it was too.

Here he is dropping deep as Eden Hazard pings a low ball into feet. The Belgian's started very deep.

Everyone seems to be on the same page at Leicester, the manager seems happy. They’ve got Jamie Vardy back today with is a bonus. They are going below the radar, not doing big interviews or making a fuss, just picking up points quietly.

Welcome to the Bridge, there’s an air of optimism and renewed hope under Mauricio Sarri despite his note of caution yesterday. He told me in yesterday’s press conference that only two teams can win the Premier League this season, Man City and Liverpool.

He’s always said it could take up to three months to school his side in his Sarrismo football, the high press, high line, high tempo and quick passing style.

He’s also said it will take the defenders longer to adapt. Despite that you’d expect them to make it five wins from five today against a Cardiff team still looking for that first win.

Huddersfield v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

Huddersfield head coach David Wagner on his opposite number Roy Hodgson: "He is a legend here in England, I don't imagine how you can still be a manager at 71! He turned Palace around last season. For sure I won't be a manager at any football club at that age."

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "Huddersfield had a tough start against Manchester City and Chelsea, and they are perhaps expected to lose those, because they are not in the same ball park as Manchester City or Chelsea.

"This is a home game against a team they will regard as being in the same area as them. They will be doing all they can to get the three points, and we are aware of that. But we have to show we are as anxious to get the three points."

Cardiff had positives from Arsenal game before the international break. They tried to go for it and it was an entertaining game.

That's what fans want to see, in the Premier League they want them to have a go. They know it will be a struggle against an in-form Chelsea side, but the game against Arsenal gave them hope.

It's four wins from four so far for Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea.

Last season his Napoli side won their first eight - and didn't lose in the league until December.

Victory today would see him become the fourth manager in Premier League history to win his first five fixtures in the division, emulating Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola and Craig Shakespeare.

    Chelsea v Cardiff (15:00 BST)

BBC Match of the Day commentator

A Welshman has already turned up the heat on Chelsea this week. Baker Jon Jenkins was richly praised for his Cardiff version of Chelsea buns , externalon Great British Bake Off. He iced them with a Bluebirds' badge. Judge Prue Leith described Jon's buns as "nice and spongy".

Neil Warnock's defence will have to soak up Chelsea like a sponge in this. He's enduring his worst run as Cardiff boss - six games without a win.

Maurizio Sarri should become only the fourth manager to win his first five Premier League fixtures. There's a niggling doubt though.

Nine of Chelsea's expected line-up are back from exhausting international duty. Cardiff mostly stayed at home. It could be a factor unless the visitors try to play open football.

They'll get burned if they do. Unlike Jon's buns.

  18. Good omens for Newcastlepublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Newcastle v Arsenal (15:00 BST)

Defeat for Newcastle would ensure the Magpies have their lowest ever return after five games in the Premier League.

But they won the last home game against Arsenal in April and the Gunners have won just two of their last 10 league games on the road.

Interestingly, Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has never actually played at St James' Park so this will be a new experience for him.

  19. Low-scoring encounter on the cards?published at 14:36 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Bournemouth v Leicester (15:00 BST)

    John Roder
    Match of the Day commentator

It has been an excellent international break for Leicester, with Ben Chilwell making his England debut and Demarai Gray on the bench for the friendly against Switzerland at the King Power Stadium, and Harry Maguire signing a new deal.

Add in the fact that Jamie Vardy returns from suspension and the Foxes will be confident of a first Premier League win over Bournemouth.

The Cherries have made their best start to a season since reaching the top division; a much better beginning than last year when they lost their opening four matches.

The meetings between these two sides since Bournemouth came up in 2015 suggests another tight low-scoring encounter may well be on the cards.

    Bournemouth v Leicester (15:00 BST)

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "The games against Leicester have been entertaining, tight, tactically really interesting. Traditionally they've been a counter-attack team but now they're more possession-based.

"We're still in the early stages and still have a lot to prove, but these early games do shape your season."

Leicester City manager Claude Puel on his team's habit of conceding early goals:"We must learn and correct this. We need to improve concentration from the kick-off.

"Against Manchester United and Liverpool we conceded early, but then went on to show positive things in those games, but we started so slow. It was a shame.

"Bournemouth have started the season well and it will be a challenge for us."
