    Newcastle 0-0 Arsenal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then receives the ball on the left and has space to run into. He does, but chooses to cross early and it's blocked.

    Chelsea 0-1 Cardiff

Cardiff are defending really well. Sol Bamba just nips in ahead of Olivier Giroud to dig out a vital clearance in the box.

From the corner, Danny Ward slips and nods a clearance straight to Antonio Rudiger, but they somehow get the ball clear again.

    Newcastle 0-0 Arsenal

Ayoze Perez is proving a nuisance for the Arsenal defence. Shkodran Mustafi deals with his this time though, blocking a cross from the right and preventing another headed effort at St James'.

    Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester

A bit of a flashpoint here as Harry Maguire and Joshua King collide right in front of the dugouts. Eddie Howe isn't happy and there's a lot of shouting and waving going on.

Maguire followed through on a challenge and King was flattened - but it looked to be more momentum than malice. The referee seems to agree, just a free-kick and a talking to.

Foxx_Bat: Maybe Arsenal do look worse this year but it is hardly a surprise? Players learning a new philosophy and some of them can't or won't be able to do it. It will take time. I'm still enjoying it because at least I don't know what will happen! Give them time.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:27 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Crystal Palace

Chris Lowe fires a lovely cross into the Crystal Palace box and Steve Mounie gets his head on the end of it. He makes decent contact too, but it's just too high.

    Great chance!

  7. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Man City 2-0 Fulham

City continue to attack with intensity - using Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva to great effect on the right.

But Fulham do have rare glimpses of counter-attacking space. This time it's Andre Schurrle who drives forward but his shot from distance is poor and flies way over the bar.

  8. 'Well-worked City goal'published at 15:25 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Man City 2-0 Fulham

    Alex Scott
Ex-Arsenal Ladies & England international on Final Score

Great passing and build-up from Manchester City, David Silva on the ball shows great strength to hold off his defender. It's a well-worked goal by Man City,

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:25 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Chelsea 0-1 Cardiff

Pedro, making his 100th Premier League appearance today, sends the agile Neil Etheridge sprawling across the frame of his goal, stretching out like a cat batting at a ball of wool as the Spaniard's arced effort drifts just wide of the post.

  10. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Huddersfield 0-0 Crystal Palace

It's very even over at Huddersfield. Just one shot off target from the hosts though. That one could go to the wire.

It's a different story over at the Etihad...

  11. 'Fulham can have no complaints'published at 15:24 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Man City 2-0 Fulham

    Matthew Upson
Former Arsenal defender at Etihad Stadium for 5 live Sport

That man David Silva! Even when he's nowhere near the ball he's always on the move, looking for space and possession, and it was no surprise he was there right place, right time to hit that home.

The ball did pop up into the part of the body that's part shoulder, part chest, but to be honest there was no movement of the hand to the ball and Fulham can have no complaints.

  12. CHANCE!published at 15:23 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester

A decent one too, Callum Wilson might have cut across goal instead of firing wildly over the bar from a tight angle.

  13. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Newcastle 0-0 Arsenal

A mistake from Shkodran Mustafi allows Jacob Murphy to drive into the box but Sokratis reacts well to get back and cover.

Newcastle have had a couple of decent chances now.

  14. Postpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Chelsea 0-1 Cardiff

The Cardiff fans are enjoying this. I'm sure Neil Warnock's enjoying it too, more than he's letting on right now, arms folded looking on.

After that flurry of Chelsea attacking immediately after the goal things have calmed slightly. Consolidation time.

    Man City 1-0 Fulham

Rare attack from Fulham are Cyrus Christie gets away down the right. His cross is cut out and the visitors win a throw-in in the City area.

  17. Postpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Newcastle 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal win their first corner of the match. Mesut Ozil lofts it towards Sokratis who looks to flick it on. It misses everyone and the visitors have to re-set.

Lovely, lovely finish from the nippy Ryan Fraser. Denied a penalty a few moments ago, he curls a sumptuous effort into corner from Joshua King's pass.

  19. GREAT SAVES!published at 15:18 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Chelsea 0-1 Cardiff

Two fantastic stops in as many minutes from Neil Etheridge as twice Mateo Kovacic almost forces an immediate reply. The first is a low tip down to his left, the second the keeper comes out and makes himself big to block in a one-on-one. Superb.

  20. 'Bamba puts his body on the line'published at 19 mins

    Chelsea 0-1 Cardiff

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on Final Score

In either box, Chelsea need to stand up and be counted. In the middle of the park Cardiff will let you have it. In either box they fight tooth and nail. Sol Bamba puts his body on the line to score.
