  1. 'Not a red for Morgan'published at 16:30 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Bournemouth 3-0 Leicester

    Dion Dublin
Ex-Aston Villa striker on Final Score

Wes Morgan has been rattled today and given the runaround by Bournemouth's two strikers and the challenge is a show of 'I'm going to show you how strong I am'.

There is no ruthlessness, he's gone 100% for the ball. I don't think it's a sending off, I really don't. I personally don't think it is a red.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:30 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Chelsea 2-1 Cardiff

Not too many signs that the Bobby Reid effort has woken Chelsea up. Cardiff have been kept at arm's length but they're starting to have a little more joy now.

Reid himself is making way though - Callum Paterson on to replace him. Twenty minutes to play at the Bridge.

  3. Postpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal's defence haven't looked comfortable this afternoon. Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi share some heated words as a lack of communication ends up with Sokratis hoofing the ball away for a corner.

The visitors then break forward through Alexandre Lacazette but Henrikh Mkhitaryan's shot is saved by Martin Dubravka.

DeAndre Yedlin is down on the ground in some discomfort. He fell awkwardly as he tried to get the ball off Mesut Ozil in the build-up.

Pascal Van der Kamp: Torreira on again, and Arsenal’s whole performance changes again. Surely now, it is the official end of the Xhaka/Guendouzi experiment

Kesis: As seasoned Arsenal fan I'm well aware of the 4-4 draw, I won't be carried away. Optimistic though!

    Bournemouth 3-0 Leicester

Wes Morgan gets his marching orders for a second yellow, as he clumsily crashes into Dan Gosling, always stretching for a loose ball he was never going to reach.

Bad to worse for the stricken Foxes.

    Bournemouth 3-0 Leicester

    Alex Scott
Ex-Arsenal Ladies & England international on Final Score

Bournemouth should train with the SAS every week. They have been fantastic, their movement & counter attacking has been superb. When you look at the score line they deserve to be 3-0 up.

  9. CLOSE!published at 16:26 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Chelsea 2-1 Cardiff

So close! Bobby Reid with the stepovers in the box as David Luiz just stands off. He fires a low shot that skims just wide of the post, with the world's most expensive keeper Kepa stranded.

There is not a lot in this remember...

    Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal

Changes over at St James' Park. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is replaced by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, while Jacob Murphy comes off for Chelsea loanee Kenedy.

It's fallen a bit flat over in Newcastle. Arsenal still controlling things.

  11. Postpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Bournemouth 3-0 Leicester

Steve Cook going for the spectacular with an optimistic drive from range that sears the turf as it fizzes along, but always bouncing wide. Bournemouth have woken up too.

  12. CLOSE!published at 16:22 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Huddersfield 0-1 Crystal Palace

Aaron Mooy demonstrates great technique to volley the ball from a floated cross, but his effort smacks into the post before Elias Kachunga collects the rebound.

Steve Mounie's effort is then deflected before it's clung on to by Wayne Hennessey.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:22 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Chelsea 2-1 Cardiff

Lovely stuff from Pedro. First he makes a break in this phoney war with a shimmy on the edge, digging out a right-footed shot that falls just wide of Neal Etheridge's post.

Here's he is again now, chesting down and swiveling into a shot when he had no right to or space to work in, dazzling a crowded penalty area but firing wide.

Chelsea seem to be waking up a little.

Another miss from Gabriel Jesus. The City forward is in acres of space in the box but he can't connect properly with the cross from Raheem Sterling and it bounces over the bar.

Things just aren't falling for Newcastle. Still no shot on goal after 65 mins.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:19 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Bournemouth 3-0 Leicester

Probably would have been a consolation but still, Wilfred Ndidi will be disappointed with this finish, heading over the bar from close range after a swirling Rachid Ghezzal cross.

Ghezzal was bossing this in the early stages, he looked really lively. His team have been knocked out for six since.

  17. CLOSE!published at 16:18 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Man City 3-0 Fulham

Oh it could have been four!

Fernandinho lets rip from the edge of the box and his fizzing strike flies past the post. You could see the woodwork trembling as it breezed past...

Damage limitation needed from Fulham here.

    Huddersfield 0-1 Crystal Palace

Philip Billing is in the thick of things at the start of this second half and the midfielder has another shot on goal, but it's always rising and sails over the bar.

    Huddersfield are creating chances here.

Simon: Newcastle heading for another loss. I call him Rafa Has Been-Itez because he's clearly past it at this point. It's time for Newcastle to find a new manager and Rafa to start thinking about his retirement.

David Ljunggren: Newcastle's keeper is really below par today. Two shots he could have saved and he fluffs them both.

  20. Postpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 15 September 2018

    Chelsea 2-1 Cardiff

Chelsea look to be coping pretty comfortably with everything Cardiff are throwing at them - in open play, at least. The away side have threatened most from set pieces - that's where the opening goal came from.

So long as the ball's on the ground the Blues are as cool as you like, and they don't seem to be in any rush to extend this lead.
