Signs of life in the Southampton attack. Danny Ings crosses but Mario Lemina cannot steer a volley goalwards. Manolo Gabbiadini then draws a save from Kepa Arrizabalaga with a shot from 25 yards.

Better. Much, much better.

Southampton have seen so little of the ball, when they do get a touch they treat it as if it is something alien. Chelsea again look to create an opening in the box, which Saints try to help them with through a series of hacked clearances and headers up in the air.

Lovely move from Chelsea, shame about the finish.

Quick passing sees them cut through the Southampton midfield and to the edge of the box, where N'Golo Kante tees up Ross Barkley for a curling effort that flies over the bar.

It is pure attack v defence. Southampton are camped in their own half. They've barely had a kick so far.

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Unai Emery speaking to Match of the Day:

"Our performance over the 90 minutes was very important; to be together and with our performance we found each moment and each player.

"It was an important goal for Aaron [Ramsey] and an important goal for us. The best performer for us is every player.

On Arsenal finding themselves in the top four: "I believe in us, we believe in our process but also we must keep taking confidence. I think we are in the first competition in the war. It is very difficult but we must prepare, continue improving and show big commitment."

All Chelsea. Hazard again in the thick of a move that ends with N'Golo Kante and Cesar Azpilicueta getting in a muddle, the former blocking the latter's angled shot.

You can almost see the Southampton defenders brace themselves when Eden Hazard gets hold of the ball. The Chelsea forward runs into the box and swings his boot through the ball but Jan Bednarek blocks. The ball breaks for Willian and his shot is deflected on to the top of the bar.

Willian's delivery is designed for a man at the back post but Alex McCarthy sticks out a big hand to deflect the ball away from David Luiz.

Chelsea win the first corner...

Fulham

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic speaking to BBC Sport:

"It is without any doubt a hard defeat for us, we tried to create things but showed many weaknesses as they scored easy goals.

"We tried to be offensive and play high with two full-backs to find a solution, but from the second goal it is clear the plan was not working. We really need to work on the weaknesses in the defensive side.

"It has to be a worry always [when you are conceding lots of goals]. It is a hard result, but today Arsenal showed their quality and pace. We have 90 [possible] points ahead of us and we need to be brave and keep on fighting."

Southampton look to start on the front foot with Manolo Gabbiadini charging into the box to try and receive Pierre-Emile Højbjerg's chipped ball. David Luiz is there, though, to head away.

Chelsea sporting a shirt that looks like an ode to the English weather. It's grey, it's patchy. Inevitably then, I'm going to talk about it.

To add a bit of flair they've stuck some neon orange socks on.

It's got echoes of that Coors kit from the Ruud Gullit days.
