I lived in Seville when Emery was their coach and the Spanish media held him in very high regard for his ability to read a game and for his dedication. He keeps the players on their toes.

This is a great new Arsenal team, only down side is the rants on Arsenal Fan TV aren't there.

GOAL - Fulham 1-3 Arsenalpublished at 68 mins

    Aaron Ramsey

    Goal of the season?

Flicks and tricks all over the place. Ramsey is right at the heart of it as Arsenal sweep through the field. His chip gets him past one man, his header carries the ball moving, after a little touch from Bellerin, and his inside of the boot. Cruyff-turn finish sends the ball into the goal from Aubameyang's low cross.

    Arsenal Globetrotters.

You just feel that Unai Emery has breathed some life into Arsenal - we have seen them play some really terrible football over the last 10 or so years, but for the first time in a while it looks like the players have the confidence and desire to win.

Emery's strengths were Wenger's weaknesses! How to use the bench if and when required!

    Southampton v Chelsea (14:15 BST)

Southampton have won only once in seven Premier League matches so far this season, so boss Mark Hughes makes three changes from their last top-flight outing - a 2-0 defeat at Wolves. In come Maya Yoshida, Manolo Gabbiadini and Jan Bednarek for Jannik Vestergaard, Charlie Austin and Mohamed Elyounoussi.

Chelsea are unbeaten in the league this season so it's little surprise manager Maurizio Sarri doesn't feel the need for too much tinkering for the trip to St Mary's.

Just the one change from last weekend's 1-1 draw with Liverpool, with Ross Barkley in for Mateo Kovacic in midfield.

    Change for both sides.

Welbeck departs and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang comes on to give Arsenal some fresh legs up front. Kevin McDonald takes over from André-Frank Zambo Anguissa in Fulham's midfield.

Chance! A real good one too.

Aboubakar Kamara rises well in the box and is first to Cyrus Christie's cross, but he gets his header all wrong, instead shouldering the ball in no threat to the goal.

Mustafi has recovered. He limps off and limps (less severely) back on to resume his defensive duties.

Arsenal put the ball out to allow Shkodran Mustafi to receive some treatment. He fell very nastily on his ankle while making a header. Doesn't look in a good way, either.

Arsenal have a great second half record this season. Emery continues to suss teams out as he plays them and makes changes accordingly.

Poor Marcus Bettinelli. One great save one moment, picking the ball out of his goal the next. The keeper also cracked his head on the post as part of his dive to try and stop Lacazette's goal too. Who'd be a goalkeeper, eh?

GOAL - Fulham 1-2 Arsenalpublished at 49 mins

    Alexandre Lacazette

    Out of nowhere!

Alexandre Lacazette has his second of the game and it is all down to the striker's awareness and precision. A high, somewhat aimless ball is nodded down by Welbeck and gathered by his strike partner, who turns and lashes a fierce shot in from 25 yards.

    Great strike.

    Great save!

This is the reason Marcus Bettinelli is in the England squad. Iwobi's low cross is deflected back out to Bellerin, whose drive looks destined for the far corner of the net until the Fulham keeper dives and sticks out a hand to palm it away.

Craig: One big difference this season is the speed at which Arsenal get the ball to the final third. Much less 'safe' passing in midfield. You can tell Wenger's strategy was to retain the ball at all costs and be patient. Emery's is to get the ball to danger areas fast!

Arsenal with the first real threat of the second half. Iwobi gets in down the left (yet again) but his chipped cross towards Mkhitaryan is cut out by Le Marchand before the midfielder can do any real damage.
