Much is made of Pep Guardiola's problems against Jurgen Klopp but this is also the biggest test his Liverpool side have faced so far this season.

Chelsea are right in the mix as they, along with Liverpool and Manchester City, look a cut above the rest of the Premier League so far this season - so this is no title decider, certainly not in early October.

It is, however, a chance for both teams to put down a marker as it looks certain they will be in pursuit of the Premier League alongside each other this season.

Mark Pougatch thinks it might because people have found it tough to get in thanks to a giant puppet show in the city.

Chelsea

Chelsea's Eden Hazard speaking to Sky Sports: "We are enjoying playing well and scoring goals. The first half was not so easy, they missed big chances and then we have had a bit of luck for our first goal, but we controlled the match in the second half.

"I don't know if I've played better [than I am at the minute], I'm just playing good football because we [Chelsea] are playing good football. I want to keep doing it and keep everyone happy.

"I don't think about personal targets, I'm happy as long as we win. Maybe I need to think about that, some people only think about goals.

"Ross Barkley is playing well. He scored and made an assist. He is doing well and working hard on the training ground."

On title ambitions: "It's too early to be thinking about the title, we know it is tough to win. But it is good to be up there. We'll maybe watch Liverpool and Man City on the bus."

There’s always a huge question mark over Pep against Klopp, particularly against Liverpool. How attack minded will he be?

Any other game he’d roll the same team out and would win. The fact it’s against Liverpool and at Anfield means there’s a number of questions over it. And until he goes to Anfield and gets a result we’ll keep talking about it.

Brendan Rodgers has been linked to the Aston Villa job this afternoon but Celtic have put FIVE past St Johnstone and it's not even half time!
