Liverpool v Man City (16:30 BST)

    Steve Sidwell
Brighton coach on BBC Radio 5 live

People are saying it’s not a title decider. This game is huge. It’s a title decider.

It reminds me of the when Arsenal and Manchester United were going toe to toe. These are two teams that will be up there at the end of the season. It’s a bigger game for Liverpool, a great game to win but a bad game to lose.

Yesterday's late game was an epic that put us all through the wringer, same again 24 hours on?

The sides are finalising their warm ups as the floodlights come on at Anfield.

Just in case we didn't know this is the biggest Premier League game of the season so far, the "Spider-cam" has been installed to get the best view of the action for TV. To be fair it is an amazing piece of technology, but I have heard stories of players trying to aim for it during the warm-up!

There were 12 goals in the two games between these sides last season. Surely. Surely we'll have goals again...

You lot get the blame if the Liverpool match is a dull 0-0!

What a fine Sunday so far - and we are only 20 minutes away from the big dish of the day.

    All set?

The chat is that Joe Gomez will play at right-back for Liverpool today in a back four - not a back three. But that could all change.

Mikey Bricks: You can see how hard Ross Barkley is working since arriving at Chelsea by his body shape. He looks like a cage fighter!

    Southampton 0-3 Chelsea

Utterly convincing from Chelsea. They remain unbeaten in the Premier League.

    Southampton were second best throughout.

    Alvaro Morata

That is how you add a gloss finish!

The Chelsea fans 'ole' pass after pass as their side run rings around the Saints midfield and defence, ending with Hazard cutting inside and poking a pass through for Alvaro Morata to chip in.

Brilliant goal. We've seen some corkers today.

Fresh from his booking, Ings has a sniff of goal but after collecting in the box and turning past one man, he snatches at his shot and sends it bobbling wide.

Just seen a replay of the Ings foul. He could easily have seen red.

    Southampton 0-2 Chelsea

Danny Ings picks up a late booking for a lunging tackle on Mateo Kovacic. It was a poor challenge. He's the sixth Saints man into the book.

    Almost three.

Eden Hazard's corner drifts over a number of heads and is chested towards goal by Antonio Rudiger but lacks the power to test Alex McCarthy.

Into the last five minutes. Southampton have a free-kick 20 yards from goal but in keeping with their afternoon, Ryan Bertrand curls it into the wall before the Blues hammer the ball clear.

    Southampton 0-2 Chelsea

    Southampton have come to life.

Danny Ings has a go from range, which Kepa Arrizabalaga palms away with one hand. From the resulting corner, Wesley Hoedt fires a shot over.

A bit too little, too late all this.

Ross Barkley's very productive afternoon - a goal and an assist - comes to an end as he is replaced by Mateo Kovacic.

  18. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Southampton 0-2 Chelsea

    Should be 3-0.

Hazard sets up Morata, who has only the keeper to beat but fails to get his effort past Alex McCarthy. Really is low on confidence the Spaniard. He didn't hit that with any kind of authority.

    Oh, cracking effort!

Nathan Redmond is so close to getting the home side the lifeline they sop desperately crave. His dipping, swerving long-range effort has the beating of Kepa Arrizabalaga but not the crossbar.
