  • Martial had scored twice as Man Utd took 2-1 lead after trailing at break

Eden Hazard is used to it I think. He never seems to complain a great deal. He hasn't done a great deal yet by his recent sky-high standards but watch this space.

Chelsea still largely on top, albeit it without creating a great deal.

Femi: Man United players taking turns to mark Hazard and also getting booked for fouls on the Belgian in turns.

Nicola: This match is just an assault on Hazard at the moment.

Romelu Lukaku has touched the ball six times, I can tell you.

The Manchester United free-kick comes to nothing.

Tim: Martial has had a few 1 v 1 opportunities, he has turned them down . Passed backwards or sideways. Just attack the defender. Pose questions!!!

    Adelo: Is Lukaku playing?

Herbert: How many times has Lukaku touched the ball?

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 34 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Eden Hazard comes in from the wing and has a minute as a deep lying midfield conductor, he's brilliant at that as well.

Hazard then has to defend as Marcus Rashford counters, the Belgian fouls his man and into the book he goes.

Bad news for Fantasy Football managers everywhere...

That was amazing. Chris Smalling got completely attracted to Alvaro Morata and left his position and it was a lovely dink to the back post.

Marcos Alonso just could get it under control

It would have been a horrible goal for United to concede.

Onside! Marcos Alonso is left onside and free to run through on goal, but for once his first touch is not up to scratch! That's a huge opening for Chelsea. Chris Smalling was pulled out of position.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Mike Dean is dishing out the cards at the Bridge, Antonio Rudiger gets one now for a raised arm as he challenged Paul Pogba.

One shot on target in the game in the opening half hour and it's a goal.

Ashley Young almost kicks through Eden Hazard's foot to get to the ball.

Young has to very careful now, after getting a yellow card so early on.

    It's not ideal for United.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 28 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Ashley Young's task goes from tough to titanic. He catches Eden Hazard on the ankle, with the Belgian pinned on the halfwayline, back to goal. He's in the book and that's music to Chelsea's ears.

Matteo Darmian is on the bench. If that helps.

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Chelsea have lost just two of their last 35 Premier League games in which they’ve scored the first goal (W31 D2 L2) and are unbeaten in their last 10 in which they’ve opened the scoring prior to today (W8 D2).

  14. Pogba pays the pricepublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 20 October 2018

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Stamford Bridge

Pogba's dance of frustration in the six-yard area tells the story. He switched off totally there and Rudiger had a free header.

Jose Mourinho will be furious at such a soft concession,

  15. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

Unpopular opinion alert: Did Paul Pogba ACTUALLY play that well in the World Cup? Apart from the final?

I don't recall him being too special too often. Perhaps a debate for another day as Victor Lindelof passes the ball straight to Eden Hazard and is mightily relieved to see Luke Shaw bail him out.

That goal has put Chelsea three points clear at the top of (as it stands) table. Could see some movement this afternoon.

Mateo Kovacic drives in to the penalty area and Chris Smalling does well to sweep it up.

    Chelsea 1-0 Man Utd

    Matthew Upson

Just when it looked like Manchester United would get success from set pieces.

It was a lovely delivery but Paul Pogba just completely switches off.

Rudiger runs around the outside and Pogba is half a yard slow to react.

Pogba looks so frustrated and he only has himself to blame.

  20. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Man Utdpublished at 21 mins

    Antonio Rudiger

You can triple up on Eden Hazard all you like but if you give a centre-half a free run from a corner you're going to be in trouble. Paul Pogba is the guilty man, he switches off, Toni Rudiger runs past him and thumps in a header from about eight yards out.

    Bang! Willian took the set-piece.
