Claude Puel is furious on the touchline. Not surprised! Leicester should have had a penalty and Rob Holding possibly could have been having an early shower.

  2. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 18 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

Arsenal, and Rob Holding, have got away with one.

Not the centre-back's finest few moments as he handles Jamie Vardy's header when the long free-kick is pumped into the Arsenal box.

Surely a penalty?! Ref Chris Kavanagh hasn't seen it. Unbelievable!

Bayo Omisore: This high line Arsenal is keeping eh? Smacking my lips at the smacking that is loading. Iheanacho for the first goal.

Luke: Unai Emery has Arsenal moving the ball around much quicker than Arsene Wenger. Leicester are sprinting everywhere to keep up with it while Arsenal standing still. Emery clearly likes wearing teams down and then throws on the pace of Abamyaung & Welbeck to finish the job off.

Rob Holding isn't going to get run again by Kelechi Iheanacho. So he tugs him on the halfway line and takes the yellow card. Professional. Leicester asking more questions of that high Arsenal line...

Leicester have been the better team - Arsenal haven't got into any rhythm. Leicester are happy to concede ground when Arsenal have the ball but it is the visitors who look dangerous. Arsenal are a second-half team this season.

Better from Arsenal. Hector Bellerin sees an ambitious volley blocked before Alexandre Lacazette goes tumbling in the Leicester box under a challenge from Jonny Evans.

Lacazette waves his arms in the air in frustration as the Gunners fans howl for a penalty.

Not for me. More importantly, nor for referee Christopher Kavanagh

10 minutes in and you can see Arsenal have hogged the ball so far.

Both Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil have completed all of their 11 passes.

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

Leicester have identified Arsenal's high line as a source of joy. Another quick ball forward springs Jamie Vardy into life, but the ball is a little too hot, even for the Foxes striker, and Bernd Leno comes out to gather,

Ufff. Nervy start by Arsenal. The home side do manage to clear the resultant corner, although Jamie Vardy isn't happy with the close marking of Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the box.

You cannot give James Maddison that amount of time on the ball. He pops the ball from left to right and Kelechi Iheanacho bends it left-footed forcing Bernd Leno to dive to keep it out.

Leicester go again. James Maddison makes hay down the left, squaring the ball to Wilfred Ndidi, who in turn finds Kelechi Iheanacho.

Buoyed by his earlier chance, Iheanacho shoots and this time Gunners keeper Bernd Leno needs to take immediate action to palm wide.

That was a real opportunity for Leicester. It took a deflection off Rob Holding's back. Unai Emery will be worried by the ease Kelechi Iheanacho got through. Leicester have pace in abundance.

    Arsenal 0-0 Leicester

Chance! Leicester catch Arsenal on the break as a long ball from midfield goes over the high-pressing Stephane Lichtsteiner and sends Kelechi Iheanacho away.

The ageing Lichtsteiner can't catch him - he looks like he's running in tar compared to his jet-heeled opponent - and a deflection off Rob holding diverts Iheanacho's stinging short out for a corner.

Unai Emery has exceeded expectations and tonight is about carrying on that momentum against a really talented Leicester team.

Leicester are playing three across the back. Is it a risk against this Arsenal team? I think it is.

Referee Christopher Kavanagh toots his whistle, Leicester's Nampalys Mendy kicks the ball and that, unless I'm mistaken, means the game is under way.
