The drought will go on - Olivier Giroud is denied that first goal of the season by another fine save from Joe Hart.

He couldn't have really met that any better, it was a bullet header but Hart somehow palmed it onto the bar.

Patrick: And that's what happens if you play Xhaka against Zaha. Shocked it took 82 minutes to be fair

Peter: Not convinced there. On replays that looks like a dive from Zaha.

It's El Clasico - but not as you know it.

Head over here to follow that one.

Zaha waited a long time to go to the right-hand side and take on Xhaka who is not a natural full-back, a few fakes and he has completely befuddled him.

Arsenal went back into their shell and Palace have been the better team. If you look at the definition of stone-waller, you would see a picture of that.

Around this time last year, Romelu Lukaku went through a period where he scored just once in 12 games.

On Friday, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said he still had faith in the Belgian but is today's news a sign he is actually unconvinced?

As Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard are also on the bench, it will be interesting to see who Mourinho turns to first if his side are in trouble.

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 live

I immediately thought it was a clear handball. But he’s put his hand out and hit him in the hip. Once again the referee gets it right.

There have been a lot of tough decisions for Martin Atkinson today, he’s got one or two wrong but they have been tough calls that have happened at pace.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2018

Palace fans and players aggrieved once more, they want a penaty for handball but the replays show that a cross clearly hit Rob Holding on the hip.

    Good call on this occasion.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka cruises past players. He takes the ball past 2-3 players and makes it look almost effortless. He doesn't strike the ball well, which is odd to say about a professional footballer. But he tackles well, runs well, reads the game well.

Olivier Giroud still hasn't scored this season, but he's gone close! Chelsea can open Burnley up like a tin of beans whenever they want, they send Willian in down the left, he rolls it back to the handsome one, just inside the area, but Giroud bends a left-footed shot wide.

Heads in hand all round, in yellow.

Almost a third! Alex Iwobi shoots from 20 yards, it takes a whacking great deflection off Mamadou Sakho and spins just past the far post.

    So close!
