  1. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 0-3 Liverpoolpublished at 68 mins

    Steve Cook (OG)

Some Liverpool fans will say Steve Cook deserves this for his tackle on Salah earlier but he has just scored one of the great own goals.

He awkwardly tries to cut out Andy Robertson's cross and ends up backheeling into the bottom corner. He couldn't have done that if he tried. That's probably game, set and match.

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Bournemouth have only won one Premier League game when behind by two or more goals.

That one victory came against Liverpool in December 2016, ending 4-3.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

A change for Bournemouth too. David Brooks, who has had a quiet day, is replaced by Lys Mousset.

It's a double change for Liverpool with Napoli to come on Tuesday. The impressive Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri are replaced by Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana.

Steel1404: that was a horrendous scrape of the studs down Mo’s achilles, credit to the “one season wonder”. Hat-trick incoming

Chris: Cook tried a few times to foul Salah. Karma has struck

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

The tricks and flicks are coming out from Liverpool now. Keita, Salah and Firmino show off their backheels and step overs.

This is when you get serious FIFA rage when you're the losing team and things get broken.

Liverpool are exerting their dominance now. Bournemouth keep plugging away, they keep working hard, but Liverpool are making it look effortless at the moment.

A tactical switch from Bournemouth - having started centrally, Ryan Fraser is now in his familiar left-wing role to run at James "Mr 500" Milner, Junior Stanislas has gone from left to right, and David Brooks has taken a central attacking midfield position.

Salah is hunting a hat-trick now of course. He tries to get on the end of a cut-back from the byline but Lerma gets in well to tackle.

Now more excellent passing from Liverpool ends with a chip over to Salah who goes for an acrobatic finish but is flagged offside.

Cook is back up but is still following Salah everywhere. The Bournemouth defender isn't moving too freely. Salah might fancy himself one v one.

Steve Cook is down after getting a knock in another tussle with Salah. While he's down we're just being shown another replay of Cook's attempt to foul Salah before he scored.

It really was a nasty challenge. Cook scraped right down Salah's Achilles. Fair play to Salah for staying up and not reacting.

There are some Liverpool fans returning with their half-time cuppa who missed that goal. Steve Cook - who gave away possession on the halfway line - looked pretty distraught too.

And can we just pretend that half-time mascot race analogy didn't happen?

  14. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 51 mins

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Eddie Howe is ticking on the touchline. He's not happy at how easily his side gave the ball away. They've responded well to going behind however.

Joshua King goes down in the six-yard box appealing for a foul by Alisson. I think King was waiting for the contact that didn't really come. Correct decision.

  15. 'Howe's plans out the window'published at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2018

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

    Steve Sidwell
Brighton coach on BBC Radio 5 live

It's real sloppy play from Bournemouth, with Steve Cook giving the ball away on the half way line before fouling Salah - but fair play to Salah for staying on his feet before putting it into the bottom corner.

Eddie Howe turns away in disgust because his half-time team-talk has just gone out the window.

Ash: Bournemouth were in this but gifted Liverpool two goals with poor keeping and defending

Dan: Quality goal from the one season wonder

Chris: Technically two assists from Firmino. Solid game from him too!

  17. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpoolpublished at 48 mins

    Mohamed Salah

That's 2017-18 Mo Salah at his best. Liverpool steal the ball in midfield and spring on a counter-attack. Salah is fed the ball 30 yards out and drives at the Bournemouth defence. Steve Cook tries to bring him down but the Egyptian stays on his feet and slots the ball into the bottom right corner, with the help of a slight deflection.

There's no big celebration but that's Salah's second of the game and goes close to sealing the three points.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Liverpool

The wind is blowing litter around the field at the Vitality and James Milner lifts a pass out of play. We'll give him the benefit of the doubt and blame the conditions, he's earned it in the 499 games before this one.

    Bournemouth 0-1 Liverpool

    Mark Mitchener

The half-time entertainment here features a relay race around the pitch (with a football to be carried rather than a baton) between youngsters representing Bournemouth and Liverpool, before an adult from each side has to score past a mascot in goal.

Liverpool were streaking away with it by the halfway stage, one of their young fans even sportingly waiting at one of the changeovers to give a tiny Cherries representative half a chance to catch up - but in the end, it was Bournemouth who triumphed in a hare-and-tortoise scenario.

Could this piece of interval frivolity be a metaphor for a Ryan Fraser-inspired Bournemouth comeback (as the tiniest player on the pitch) after the break?
