Nick: How very Arsenal to lose a 22-game unbeaten streak to not only a relegation zone team but also Charlie Austin... Almost Spursy in its inevitability.

Benfleet Hammer: That is a superb cross from Shane Long. He is a superb striker to have when your team is going to have to work extremely hard. Massively undervalued by previous Southampton managers, but I think Hassenhuttl will like what he is seeing!

Bernd Leno has got to look at himself. He started to come, a bit of a rush of blood, then changed his mind.

He went back into his six-yard box then as the cross comes in he's not set properly and comes out like Superman. He dives one handed, misses it completely and Charlie Austin just has to let it hit his head and it's into an empty net.

That was against the run of play. We didn't see that coming!

    Charlie Austin (85 mins)

Another header! Chalk this one down to a goalkeeping error, a misjudgment anyway. Mesut Ozil loses the ball with a step over and Southampton break well, they free Shane Long into space down the right.

He looks up, stands up a cross which Bernd Leno decides to come for. He's always going to be struggling to reach it, and he doesn't. He goes full length to try and reach it, but he misses it and it leaves Charlie Austin with an open goal. Just lets it hit him on the head and it's into the back of the net!

You just feel Arsenal will have at least two more good chances.

Can they take them? Can Alex McCarthy keep them out?

Paul Pogba's exclusion from Manchester United's side to play Liverpool at Anfield says it all about his current status under Jose Mourinho.

If he will not trust his £89m midfielder to play in this most crucial of games, when will he trust him?

Joe Wedgwood: Darmian becoming the new Fletcher/Park. Not starting every game but when it comes to the big boy matches, you need a 8/10 man like him. Reliable. Solid.
