They may have lost their last four in a row, but David Wagner doesn't believe his Huddersfield team need to change much in order to start picking up points.

While he has been pleased with their overall performances, the lack of goals is a major worry, with the Terriers particularly toothless at home.

In contrast, Southampton were a potent threat against Arsenal and, in addition to his well-taken goals, Danny Ings looks like being a perfect fit for new boss Ralph Hasenhuttl's aggressive high pressing style of play.

Hasenhuttl says he still wants to improve his English, particularly for media obligations, but he already knows enough of the lingo to have called this game a six-pointer!

I can't vouch for the temperaure, but it is a beautiful sunny afternoon at the Emirates as both sets of players complete their warm-ups.

He's not in the matchday squad but Burnley keeper Nick Pope is back with the team today. Turns out you can have too maney England goalkeepers at once...

Appropriately enough for 'whispering' Claude Puel,, external there has been a low murmuring about his future almost from the moment he became Leicester's manager 14 months ago.

After back-to-back league defeats and a Carabao Cup exit, the noises have started again, external - which seems a bit harsh on a manager who led Leicester to their longest unbeaten run since the title-winning campaign, a sequence which ended only a fortnight ago.

Chelsea have dropped eight points in their last six league games, exactly the tally by which they trail the leaders Liverpool.

Maurizio Sarri's side are full of promise, and his aims for this season are realistic and achievable. Nevertheless, five outstanding teams into four places won't go and there's little margin for error.

Twenty eight years to the day after Palace last won a league game in Manchester, they go to the Etihad Stadium in search of a Christmas miracle.

Since a 2-0 win at Maine Road, thanks to Ian Wright and a Neil Pointon own goal, the Eagles have taken just four points from 24 visits to City and United, suffering particularly heavy defeats on the blue side in recent years.

In the here and now, Roy Hodgson's team has won two of their last four games - but their chances of ending the last remaining 100% home record in the country are close to those of hearing reindeer land on your roof on Monday night. Who believes?!!

The Clarets are back in the relegation zone after last week's late defeat by Tottenham, but I think they have got a bit of their mojo back recently.

Sean Dyche's side are looking a bit more like the team they were last season, when they spent the entire campaign in the top half of the table.

Arsenal will have to work hard to see them off, but I think they will find a way.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

He'll either get sent off or score a hat-trick.

Such was one Newcastle fan's appraisal of Aleksandar Mitrovic's return to St James' Park. Domestic goals may have dried up for Serbia's Player of the Year, external - just two since his early -season scoring spree - but he's exactly the sort of character who is capable of producing some drama.

In a mirror image of Mitrovic's campaign, Newcastle's number nine Salomon Rondon has hit a purple patch after a slow start. He could prove a real handful for Fulham's notoriously leaky defence, as Rafael Benitez looks to open up a 10-point gap over Claudio Ranieri's men.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has given an emotional interview about the "shameful" homelessness issue in Manchester.

He has pledged to help tackle the issue and earlier this year set up 'Tackle4MCR' with Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham in a bid to inspire social change in the region.

He will also donate all profits from his testimonial match next year to Manchester's homeless.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News this week, external he said: ""It's undeniable - globally, England, the whole of the UK, is well-off.

"And in this part of world, for this to still be possible, it's actually quite shameful.

"But problems happen - and if we have enough solidarity we can perhaps change things for the future."

    On Roy Keane's quotes...

I’ve played with players where some needed telling off because they needed firing up. But other players would disappear if you have a go at them. You just can’t do that. The man management is 90% of the game. It’s changed so much. You have to manage players in different ways.

They’ve got so many clingers-on. They don’t go to work, they just drive them around so they don’t tell them what really should be told. There’s players now who can’t stand hearing it because they’re not used to it.

It’s modern society. Everything is handed to people on a plate now. It’s just there whenever you want it. They’re softer. But it’s not going to change, it’s only going to get worse.
