    Everton 1-0 Bournemouth

The Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is having a long chat to his assistant Jason Tindall on this near touchline. They pair are trying to work out how the visitors can get back into this game. They probably cannot believe they are behind after their dominant first-half display.

Andre Gomes could have been sent-off! He charges into a challenge on Steve Cook and catches him with an arm, he's on a booking but he gets away with one.

Seconds later he dives into another tackle.

If Bournemouth are this frail, so that they can dominate games but then allow themselves to be caught up with and over-run as the game's gone on you can see why they've lost so many games of late.

  4. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Everton 1-0 Bournemouth

Everton are up into 10th as it stands. Bournemouth are perhaps proving the point that it's tricky to put together a 90-minute performance in the Premier League.

  5. Hugs all roundpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2019

    Everton 1-0 Bournemouth

    Gary Flintoff
BBC Radio 5 live reporter at Goodison Stadium

Kurt Zouma made his way over to the Everton technical area after scoring that goal for a hug from his manager. There were big smiles on the faces of both men. Can Everton go on to win the game?

    Everton 1-0 Bournemouth

We like building a quiz on BBC Sport these days but I don't think we'll do this one - Kurt Zouma is the 139th different player to score a Premier League goal for Everton.

    Name them.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 68 mins

    Everton 1-0 Bournemouth

There's a tussle in midfield which sees Andre Gomes go in the book. Bournemouth send on Lys Mousset for Junior Stanislas. Might as well go for it.

  8. Solskjaer goes for mobilitypublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2019

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

No place for Romelu Lukaku in the Manchester United starting line-up as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer goes for the pace and mobility of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Good positive intent from Manchester United's interim manager not great news for the £75m striker who has had a disappointing season.

Tottenham v Man Utd (16:30 GMT)

Spurs make two changes from the side that started their last Premier League game, a 3-0 win at Cardiff, with Mauricio Pochettino fielding what is probably his strongest XI, bar the injured Eric Dier.

Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies come into the back four, replacing Davinson Sanchez and Danny Rose.

Spurs: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Kane. Subs: Rose, Sanchez, Lamela, Llorente, Foyth, Gazzaniga, Skipp.

Like Tottenham, Manchester United switch two names from their last league outing, the 2-0 win at Newcastle. Jesse Lingard and Ashley Young come in for Juan Mata and Antonio Valencia, the latter not even on the bench amidst talk of an end-of-season move to Inter Milan.

Man Utd: De Gea, Young, Lindelof, Jones, Shaw, Ander Herrera, Matic, Lingard, Pogba, Martial, Rashford. Subs: Mata, Lukaku, Andreas Pereira, Fred, Dalot, Romero, McTominay.

  10. 'Finally a goal!'published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2019

    Everton 1-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth think they've cleared their lines but Digne is quickest to react at the back of the penalty area.

Zouma is completely unmarked. Begovic tries to make himself as big as possible but Zouma manages to find the top corner.

There wasn't any power on the cross, it was a floated one, so Zouma had to generate all the power on it himself and he managed to do that - and then some. Finally we've got a goal!

  11. CLOSE!published at 65 mins

    Everton 1-0 Bournemouth

Almost an instant response! Good sharp counter from Bournemouth, Michael Keane commits himself and hacks down Ryan Fraser on halfway - he's booked - and the ball breaks for Joshua King.

He's on his own but shoots, left-footed, and finds the side-netting from a tight angle.

That's Kurt Zouma's first goal for Everton, and a first since he scored in a 2-2 draw with Brighton for Stoke on November 2017.

GOAL - Everton 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 61 mins

    Kurt Zouma

    Yes we are!

Everton have the breakthrough, and after just singing his praises it's Nathan Ake who is out of position. Everton have a set-piece which is cleared away but Lucas Digne keeps it alive on the left, he puts in a fine cross, Ake is under the ball and marking fresh air as Kurt Zouma arrives to thump a header into the back of the net.

Everton have had one shot on target, Bournemouth two. For all the bright play from, in particular, the visitors we haven't had a goal yet.

The biblical weather that engulfed Goodison just before half-time has blown past. There is now evidence of blue skies on Merseyside, well sandwiched between some very threatening looking clouds.

Either team can win this. Both have showed they're capable of creating opportunities and can't quite stop the opposition creating chances.

I think we'll see in the next 15 minutes which side wants to win it more, which team wants to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

The goal decision system replay shows that about half of the ball was over the line when Nathan Ake cleared that Richarlison shot, great call again.

Is Ake one of those many, many players to have left Chelsea without really getting a chance who was good enough in the end? I think he's a very good player indeed. How many more have they got in the ranks?

Bournemouth haven't really got going in this second half.

A very good 0-0, this! Now it's Bournemouth who go close as Steve Cook floats a header on to the roof of the net.
