  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 41 mins

    Everton 0- Bournemouth

Much, much better from Everton, and it all comes through Ademola Lookman. He spins away from a marker on the left wing, swaps passes with Andre Gomes and then plays a lovely ball out to Seamus Coleman on the right.

His cross is cut out for a corner, and after that comes back into the box Michael Keane guides a header on to the top of the bar and over.

    Great play from Lookman though.

It does hit Lucas Digne on the arm but I wouldn't say it's away from his body. It's not in an unnatural position. He's so close to Fraser that there wasn't an awful lot he could do about it.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 38 mins

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Beauty, superb ball in from Ademola Lookman from the left-hand side of the area, just popped it across early. It's a tap in for Tony Cottee - but there's nobody there.

Bernard is now booked for chopping down a man on the break.

  4. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 37 mins

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Ryan Fraser hits in a cross - it's blocked by the arm of Lucas Digne but referee Anthony Taylor says that is accidental.

    Was a good shout!

  5. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Everton look at their best when they break from a Cherries set-piece - Richarlison makes a mess of putting Ademola Lookman in behind but then another fine cross comes in, Lookman should take it first time but tries to take a touch and it's cleared.

Was a lovely ball in from Bernard on that occasion...

That was the first time in the last 20 minutes that anybody has spun in behind this Bournemouth defence. It's much better by Everton. A bit of sharp movement will cause the opposition problems.

I do not think the Everton manager Marco Silva can believe what he is seeing. He keeps shaking his head on this near touchline. Bournemouth are dominating this game. In comparison, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe looks delighted with the work his team are doing.

Much better from the hosts - Ademola Lookman spins in behind the defence and gets an early ball down the right, quick as you like he flashes in an early cross which Bernard heads way over the top. Off target - but that was a very tricky one to connect with.

  9. 'Pickford isn't filling his team with confidence'published at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2019

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Everton can't get a foothold in the game, they can't keep the ball, they can't play out from the back and are starting to give it away cheaply.

And at the moment Jordan Pickford isn't filling his team with any kind of confidence with the display he's put on so far.

  10. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Richarlison has touched the ball five times. The rain has started to hammer down.

Gareth Southgate will be as concerned as the season ticket holders in the Gwladys - Jordan Pickford is having a tricky spell here. He should have done better with that save and now he misplaces a simple ball out to his defence and invites more pressure. Josh King ends up heading over, it all came from Pickford...

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 26 mins

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

There's a long delay but in the end it's Junior Stanislas who takes the free-kick - he pops it through the wall, a strange trajectory on the ball to be honest and Jordan Pickford has to be at full stretch to push it away.

Former Everton man Dan Gosling then screws a shot well wide. The Everton fans find their voice, their players need a bit of lifting...

Everton haven't really got going so far and a large part of that is Gylfi Sigurdsson. He's not quite at the level yet.

His first touch has let him down on two or three occasions, when Everton have tried to play through the midfield he's given it away more often than not, so they'll expect an improvement from him soon.

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Jordan Pickford has made his fair share of errors recently and again, he gets in a tangle with Kurt Zouma and the defender almost plays a backpass beyond the England keeper. Pickford not happy at all about that.

Communication breakdown - and now Bournemouth have a free-kick in a very good spot.

  15. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Again it's fine play from David Brooks as he gets on the ball on the left this time and looks for Joshua King, it's good tracking from Idrissa Gueye though to get back inside the area and sweep up.

The visitors have been much the better side so far.

The Everton supporters are urging their side to get a foothold in the game. They know Bournemouth have been the better side in the first 15 minutes.

Kurt Zouma's going crazy at the officials. He felt it was a foul, but the referee played on.

Unfortunately for Bournemouth it hits the inside of the post and eludes Stanislas so Everton got away with another one. That's two good opportunities Bournemouth have had.

  18. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Everton 0-0 Bournemouth

Terrific intensity from Bournemouth, Everton struggling to live with their pace on the break as Junior Stanislas and Josh King link up down the left. The home crowd still not happy about a few decisions.

    Good game, needs a goal.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 14 mins

Unlucky David Brooks! Everton think they should have a foul but play is waved on, Junior Stanislas plays Brooks in on goal, he beats Jordan Pickford with a low shot, didn't try and smash it, just passed it and hits the base of the post!

Looking at it again, I think it could well be a penalty. Gueye does get a touch. I think Everton got away with one there.
