Replays show Fernando Llorente side footed that ball home. A few feet in front of him a defender missed a header and hence it looked like he couldn't adjust his feet in time.

Llorente's got no pressure on him, nobody forcing him to make that mistake.

Spurs needed something to wake them up anyway, in all honesty. It was all a bit too relaxed and a bit too 'let's just knock it around'.

Fulham came to life before them and they've got the rewards for that. They've had the better chances, they've been more 'at it' and thoroughly deserve the 1-0 lead.

    Fernando Llorente OG

He's under scrutiny to net in Harry Kane's absence and he does, at the wrong end.

Poor Fernando Llorente. Most of us have scored one of these.

In comes a corner from Jean Michael Seri and it drops onto Llorente's leg in the six-yard box and just fizzes in.

Maybe he didn't see it until late. Some fortune for Fulham.

Cyrus Christie with good, positive play to get down the right. He's in a foot race and crosses low, forcing Jan Vertonghen to concede another corner.

It was a big save from Lloris to deny Babel and, from the corner, it probably falls to the wrong person.

Lloris did brilliantly. He stood up strong and waited and waited for Babel to make his move and saved it at his near post.

Sanchez did well to keep Babel on his left side.

In comes a corner and Aleksandar Mitrovic goes down. Jan Vertonghen had a handful of his shirt and I've seen them given. Nothing doing...

  8. CLOSE!published at 12 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

From the corner a poor header gives Denis Odoi a shooting chance in the box but the ball will not come down for him and he lifts it tamely over the bar.

Encouragement for home fans. Here they come again, corner given as Jan Vertonghen heads behind.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 11 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

That's more like it. Some old-fashioned link-up play up top between Aleksandar Mitrovic as he flicks on for Ryan Babel. The debutant races clear and closes in on goal from the left, forcing Hugo Lloris to turn his shot around the post. Having got into that position he should have probably done better.

  10. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

Dele Alli looks to weave space in the area and there's pressure on Maxime le Marchand to deal with him as Fulham look exposed. The defender does well. Spurs the better side early on though and Fulham are yet to show anything really...

Hunter Stockton: Lamb's in the oven - nice slow roast so I don't need to touch it during the Spurs match!

Rachel T: Our Sunday roast is timed to coincide with the end of the Fulham v Spurs game. Priorities.

Earlier as the Manchester City game eased to a slow finish I asked how your Sunday dinner was. We've had some good pictures and it's good to see some of you build the dinner around footy.

As per the last entry from Mr Jenas it looks like both sides are along the lines of 3-5-2 with wing-backs matching up.

It's going to be interesting the battles in those full-back areas. It's not often in formations these days that you get those one v one match-ups. They have it in this game with Danny Rose up against Cyrus Christie, and Trippier against Bryan.

  14. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

Aleksandar Mitrovic wins a free-kick in the Spurs half and again it is sent into the box. Tottenham clear and break. Erik Lamela down the left, switches play to Kieran Trippier. He pulls back to Christian Eriksen who sees a shot deflected over.

That's the danger of sending men up for set pieces. Spurs rapid on the counter.

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

Christian Eriksen will take the free-kick, it's on the corner of Fulham's area... straight into the wall and booted clear.

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

Ryan Babel gets an early touch and beats his man. It looks like he's fouled but play continues. Danny Rose though is hacked down near the area by Cyrus Christie and this is a very dangerous position.

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

Fulham win an early free-kick in the Spurs half and Jean Michael Seri sends it towards the area but Spurs stand tall.

The away side attack for the first time and Jan Vertonghen swings a dangerous cross over only for no one to attack it.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2019

    Fulham 0-0 Tottenham

Here we go then. Tottenham know they have to win really to keep any hope of challenging for the title alive, Fulham are seven points from safety and need points rapidly.

Stuff on the line. That's how we like it.

    Fulham v Tottenham (16:00 GMT)

This is a big ask for Fulham as they get ready to take on the side with the best away record in the league. Spurs have 10 wins from 12 on the road and having lost to Manchester United last time out, they know they need to get the job done.
