  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 58 mins

    Wolves 2-2 Leicester

Wolves look a little shell shocked and after defending a corner, a spell of possession in the Leicester half is much needed. Wilfred Ndidi is booked for a late tackle on Ruben Neves and that means he joins Nampalys Mendy in the book in Leicester's midfield. They may well need a change as the last thing they now want is to lose a man in the engine room.

Well, if you're making your full debut and you're getting boos from the home crowd, there's only one way to respond!

Barnes is the first to react, it may have just been drifting wide but it hits Conor Coady.

Only six minutes ago Wolves were cruising.

    Harvey Barnes

Dear me. Wolves will be absolutely kicking themselves. They've been undone in six second-half minutes.

Harvey Barnes had been quiet in the opening period on his first start at this level but here he just plays the percentages and puts his foot through the ball from 18 yards as it breaks his way.

No fancy curling or bending of the ball needed, it flashes into the bottom corner via a deflection.

  7. CLOSE!published at 49 mins

    Wolves 2-1 Leicester

Leicester are nearly level as Harvey Barnes - on his first Premier League start - bursts into the area and sees a shot palmed over the bar by Rui Patricio.

It's not all good news though, Harry Maguire departs with an injury, Jonny Evans on.

That's terrific play from Demarai Gray. A fantastic goal.

Despite being two goals down Leicester's play was deserving of a goal - they attacked and they were aggressive.

The midfield battle has been key at Molineux, but what changes would you like to see from Puel in the second half to change the Foxes fortunes?

  12. Foxes look beaten...published at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2019

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Leicester have won none and lost 28 of their previous 36 Premier League games in which they’ve been trailing at half time prior to today.

The last time they managed that was a 3-2 comeback victory against West Brom back in October 2015.

I see Claude Puel as the next Tony Pulis. On paper he'll get you a respectable place in the league but at the cost of some dire football.

    Connor, Southampton

Really would love to have sympathy for the plight of a team who got rid of their title winning manager for absolutely no reason but I just can't.

    Dan, London

I wonder why it is that so many fans of other teams feel the need to tell us how to support our club. Try sitting through this football every week!

I'm not sure Wolves deserve a two-goal lead. Leicester gave them the head start but both sides have created opportunities.

In their own halves they've both been woeful and in that sense I'm surprised there hasn't been more goals.

How many times do other fans need to hear it? No Leicester fan is moaning about being 8th; it's the appalling football we object to! Ask Southampton fans!

    Jon, Leicester

The problem with Puel is the way his teams play. Too focused on defence. As a Saints fan, yes we got 8th when he managed us, but there were also only 8 points between 8th and relegation.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45 mins

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

My man Ricardo Pereira takes us back to 1980s tackling as he comes in from the side to clatter through the side of Diogo Jota's leg. Very much a man and ball challenge, very much a booking.

Danny Simpson is down clutching his right leg. Diogo Jota must have left a bit on him as he's been carded. That was a feather tickle compared to what Pereira did.

Either way, the first half ends in a bit of a battle.
