  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 43 mins

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Jamie Vardy is Leicester's out ball and he takes two men on down the left before Ryan Bennett just stands still to block him. That's a yellow all day.

That moment there kind of sums up how Vardy has had to play. Run the hard yards and pretty much spend the rest of the time waiting for something to drop.

Joe: Some balanced perspective on the Puel Out debate please. Yes, Leicester fans appreciate that we were 8th earlier today. It's the inconsistency and lack of creativity that's getting to us. He's doing a good job bringing through youth, but our style of play is a worry.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 41 mins

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Wolves can feel unfortunate in my book.

A poor throw in by Leicester sells Wes Morgan short and unless my eyes deceive me, Diogo Jota gets a touch on the ball before Morgan clips him.

Referee has none of it but I'm putting that very much in my 'seen them given' file. If I'm honest, that's a contender for the 'should have been given' file.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 40 mins

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Kasper Schmeichel keeps Leicester in it. Raul Jimenez gets one on one with Harry Maguire and takes the ball onto his left foot before shooting low, forcing a save with the legs. Another decent chance from around 12 yards.

It's settled down a bit in the last few minutes - Wolves will be more happy with that after a better spell for Leicester but they basically gave Wolves a 2-0 head start before they started playing.

Demarai Gray, pinned to the touchline, curls a nice ball between full-back and centre-back for Danny Simpson on the overlap. He wins a corner which Wolves clear well.

Simon: I wonder when Leicester fans will realise their title win was just one of those freak once-in-a-lifetime things and that they are, at best, a mid-table team. Hounding Puel out of the club won't change that.

John: Leicester were 8th before kickoff! 8th! Puel under unfair scrutiny.

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Leicester suddenly a little disjointed. They come forward but while Ricardo Pereira has the ball on the right flank he's pretty isolated and ultimately the ball goes all the way back to Kasper Schmeichel.

Ruben Neves takes a crack on the side of the head and needs a bit of TLC from the physio, giving us a brief pause.

If it stays like this then Wolves leapfrog the visitors by the way.

What is it with Leicester fans wanting Puel sacked? Before kick off you were 8th in the league. That's overachieving for a mid table team.

How can you beat Man City, Chelsea and Everton and lose to Wolves, Cardiff and Southampton. Seriously, how?

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Wolves play out from their own corner flag and play down the left flank with the flow of a basketball team chasing a win on the buzzer. The move sweeps downfield and just as they create a real opening, the final pass goes stray. Lovely stuff though and they seem to have now quelled that Leicester spell of pressure.

Woeful start. Can't blame Puel for individual mistakes. Morgan's ship has sailed, get Benkovic back.

  12. CLOSE!published at 27 mins

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

    Wolves should be three up.

Somehow Raul Jimenez digs out a cross near the corner flag when he has no right to. It's absolutely majestic in that Diogo Jota does not have to move in the middle of the box and he powers a header straight at the keeper.

    A big chance.

If it ends like this Claude Puel will say after the game that this is exactly why I don't play attacking football.

He's opened up today and his side have already conceded twice in the early stages.

Here's a look at what I've been saying about Leicester (right) getting into the Wolves box too easily.

They've had 13 touches in the home area, while Wolves have had three and scored twice from them.

David: For goodness sake, that was cheating from Wolves. The ball at the corner kick was nowhere near the correct position. Ban retrospectively for these players.

Chris: Would that goal be disallowed if there was VAR on this game as the ball was not in the corner quadrant?

Leicester are creating chances themselves and they do still seem to fancy getting something from this game, even at 2-0 down.

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Wolves are on borrowed time here in terms of a two-goal advantage as Leicester are getting at their box too easily. Demarai Gray has shooting space for the third time in as many minutes and only a fine Conor Coady block denies him from 12 yards.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 19 mins

    Wolves 2-0 Leicester

Leicester will be down but they look far from beaten. Nice link-up play in midfield from Ricardo Pereira and Demarai Gray allows Gray to burst into the final third, bring the ball on to his right peg and fire from 20 yards. A good, solid hit and it's well turned away by Rui Patricio.
