    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Half an hour in and Hibs can be pleased with their efforts so far. It's been a bit scruffy but that's down to both sides giving the ball away cheaply.

Nerves will increase the longer it goes without a goal.

  2. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Malmo 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Eirik Hestad gets in behind the Hibs defence on the right but the angle is too tight for a shot and he can only slice the ball high and wide.

  3. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Stevie Mallan has a wild swipe at a dropping ball but quickly recovers with a neat turn to find room for a shot from 22 yards. It's a sweet contact but goalkeeper Andreas Linde is right behind it.

  4. Postpublished at 23 mins

    Malmo 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Vykintas Slivka threads a pass through to Flo Kamberi, who does well to turn and skid a low ball across the face of goal but Jamie Maclaren is not on the same wavelength as his Hibs strike partner.

  5. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Malmo 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

There have been a few odd bounces on the artificial surface and Ryan Porteous can only send an awkward looping ball out for a corner. No damage done as the visitors deal with the set-piece.

Molde look a good passing team but there are also flaws there Hibs can exploit with a bit of pace and quality.

  7. Maribor make changespublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 16 August 2018

    NK Maribor v Rangers (1-3, 19:15)

The home side have made a couple of changes from the first leg. Jasmin Mesanovic and Dino Hotic replace Aleks Pihler and Gregor Bajde, who drop to the bench.

  8. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Malmo 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Martin Boyle is seeing a lot of the ball for Hibs and the wing-back slips a clever ball into the Molde penalty area, with Paul Hanlon and Flo Kamberi not far away, before the keeper throws himself on it.

  9. Molde overload on the rightpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 16 August 2018

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

    Brian McLauchlin

The Molde midfielders look as if they have identified the right flank as an area they feel they can expose. Efe Ambrose has at times been left with two players to cope with and I wouldn’t be too surprised if Neil Lennon tweaks his formation to provide some cover.

  10. CLOSE!published at 12 mins

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Maybe Erling Braut Haland is still a bit groggy after that crunching challenge because he should really be hitting the target with a free header 12 yards out.

The ball flies just wide. A huge let-off for Hibs.

Porteous didn't need to go in quite as severely as that. Ryan has put himself in an awkward situation now.

  12. YELLOW CARD Ryan Porteous (Hibs)published at 11 mins

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Oooft! Ryan Porteous goes right through Erling Braut Haland near the halfway line and is booked for his troubles. Rather rash from the teenage defender.

  13. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

The home side look a bit rattled, with two passes going straight out for throw-ins and now a defensive mix-up, which leads to a corner for Hibs.

  14. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

The game is nice and open as Vykintas Slivka slings in a cross from the left and Jamie Maclaren gets between two defenders to reach it. However, the striker can only send the ball high over the target.

  15. 'Coulibaly a big miss for Rangers'published at 18:08 British Summer Time 16 August 2018

    NK Maribor v Rangers (1-3, 19:15)

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland in Maribor

Lassana Coulibaly’s absence is a big blow for Steven Gerrard and Rangers. The manager had indicated yesterday that the Malian midfielder was fit, but clearly he’s decided that playing him would be too big a risk. Coulibaly has been one of Rangers’ best players in the early part of the season and would have played an important role tonight.

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

Hibs are at sixes in sevens from a corner as Efe Ambrose eventually deflects Cibicki's drive away for a throw in.

  17. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian (0-0)

An early scare for Hibs as Eirik Hestad absolutely thrashes a low delivery across the six yard box. It whizzes past goalkeeper Adam Bogdan but there's too much on it for any Molde player to get a touch.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 18:00 British Summer Time 16 August 2018

    Molde 0-0 Hibernian

And we're off in Norway. The hosts don't waste any time launching it long and Ryan Porteous is up to head it away. We might see a lot of that...

  19. Who lies in wait?published at 17:56 British Summer Time 16 August 2018

Celtic will meet either Suduva or Spartaks Jurmala in the play-off round, with the Lithuanian side starting tonight's home leg with a 1-0 advantage.

We now know Rangers or Maribor will face Russian side FC Ufa, who scrambled a late goal in Luxembourg to squeeze past Progres Nierderkorn in Luxembourg. That game finished 2-2, for a 3-4 aggregate.

Optimistic Hibs fans were busy trying to source Russian visas but those plans may well have been knocked sideways after Zenit St Petersburg suffered a shock 4-0 loss to Dinamo Minsk.

  20. Rangers opt for Halliday at left-backpublished at 17:54 British Summer Time 16 August 2018

    NK Maribor v Rangers (1-3, 19:15)

With Jon Flanagan suspended and Borna Barisic cup-tied, Andy Halliday is asked to step in at left-back.

Ryan Jack returns from concussion and fellow midfielder Scott Arfield has shaken off a knock but there is no place for Lassana Coulibaly.

Rangers XI: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Halliday, Jack, Ejaria, Arfield, Candeias, Murphy, Morelos.
