Reading almost came away with all three points against promotion-chasing Brentford in an eventful 2-2 draw at Griffin Park.

Yoann Barbet's stoppage time equaliser denied his Royals side victory after goals from Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and John Swift had seen them come from behind.

But Clement was taking the positives out of the point away from home.

"(It was a) great game, loads of passion, edge of your seat stuff," Clement told BBC Radio Berkshire.

"We're disappointed to not have taken all three points, particularly because they had 10 men on the field.

"But, there has been a mental shift in this team and that's pleasing. I think we have turned a corner but we know we have to keep it going."

Jack Butland almost went from hero to zero very quickly for Stoke there though.

Caught a cross calmly, plucking it from the air, but then bowled it straight to the hosts as Ryan Manning clipped the ball into the side netting from range, trying to catch the keeper out.

Ryan Woods is really influential, in that deep-laying midfield role, for Stoke.

This is tricky for the Millers, who just can't get out of their own half after a decent start.

They're having to rely on Marek Rodak's instincts as he is again called into action to thwart a terrific strike from Joe Allen.

Stoke's attacking play and movement is sharp.

They're well on the front foot now.

Erik Pieters absolutely skies one after a threatening period for the visitors.

He saw it drop for him and presumably thought 'why not?'

So far his timing has been spot on.

Then Benik Afobe forces another strong save from Marek Rodak at the other end after fine work once again from Joe Allen and Saido Berahino to tee him up.

Rotherham's Michael Smith gets a header on target but it's a comfortable catch for Jack Butland.

But Rotherham have threat of their own and go up the other end to win a couple of corners.

Stoke deal with them but Paul Warne will be pleased his side are clearly up for this.

Bolton's Craig Noone honoured recently retired team-mate Stephen Darby by celebrating his first-half winner against Derby County in the stands with the defender.

Noone beat goalkeeper Scott Carson with an early header across goal before racing to Darby, who was forced to hang up his boots earlier this month after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

Frank Lampard's Derby, who four days earlier knocked Manchester United out of the League Cup, went on to control much of the possession but had to wait until the 88th minute to get a shot on goal.

In the first game since Darby's enforced retirement, Trotters players paid tribute to their team-mate before kick-off by each walking onto the pitch wearing shirts with the defender's name and number 23 on the back.

After Noone met Will Buckley's cross to put them ahead with a fine finish at the far post, the winger ensured the occasion was marked with an emotional celebration.

Rodak has to punch away a dangerous in-swinging corner from Stoke after good work from full-back Cuco Martina.

The visitors are on top.
