    Bolton 0-0 Blackburn

The strains of Sweet Caroline come to an end, which will please my brother as he hates that song, and Blackburn in their yellow shirts get us under way in the sunshine at Bolton.

    Bolton v Blackburn (17:30 BST)

The teams are on their way out of the tunnels - yes, tunnels, as they have two at Bolton's home stadium - and we're moments away from our final EFL match of the day.

Bolton Wanderers v Blackburn Rovers (17:30 BST)

Some familiar faces on both sides to both supporters and managers for this game.

Former Blackburn captain Jason Lowe starts for Bolton, as does Erhun Oztumer, who played twice against Rovers for Walsall last term.

David Wheater also starts for the Trotters, who played under Tony Mowbray during his time in charge of Middlesbrough.

Blakburn make four changes from their midweek defeat by Sheffield United.

Their captain Charlie Mulgrew returns to the starting line-up.

Bolton: Matthews; Olkowski, Grounds, Hobbs, Wheater, Lowe, Williams, Buckley, Oztumer, Noone, Magennis.

Substitutes: Williams, Vela, Doidge, Wilson, O'Neil, Dyer, Wildschut.

Blackburn: Raya, Bennett, Williams, Rodwell, Reed, Rothwell, Palmer, Dack, Graham.

Substitutes: Leutwiler, Smallwood, Armstrong, Bell, Brereton, Evans, Conway.

Two sides locked together on 15 points coming into this match and separated geographically by just 15 miles.

It's fair to say The Trotters have taken the bragging rights in this fixture in recent history having won their past six home league matches against Blackburn.

But, for those of you who like a bit of nostalgia, this will be the 155th league meeting between the sides, who first met in the first ever Football League season in 1888-89.

Wonder who was writing the minute-by-minute for that one?

Bolton and Blackburn start 15th and 16th respectively after this afternoon's results, but a win for either will put them level on points with sixth-placed Brentford.

Mike: The Villa performance today shows how far we have to improve, it's been very poor. Feel like the last two seasons have been wasted.

Greg's Goals: 2018-19 average points; with Bruce: 1.44 per game. Without Bruce: 0.00 per game. Just shows how much those cabbage throwing 'fans' know about the game.

Aston Villa's defeat at Millwall today leaves them 14th in the Championship.
