Don't forget, you can tune into BBC One from 22:45 BST (23:45 BST in Northern Ireland) to catch highlights from tonight's awards.
You can decide for yourself whether Idris Elba's jokes were worth laughing at and whether Patrick Stewart is a fan of Big Shaq.
Fifa's Best Women's Award winner Marta speaking to BBC Sport: "This means so much. It is not only about Marta but it is about my teammates and women's football.
"It is amazing. For me, it is most important to see women's soccer grow up each year. If I keep doing well and that can help outside of the field too then I am happy.
"This is a big motivation to keep working hard. When you have an opportunity to play in a very important tournament you want to win.
"The game is getting stronger and stronger. It is good because it is positive and more interesting."
More from Modric on Croatia reaching the World Cup final: "We had a great summer. The Croatia fans gave us amazing support from the first day, until the last day and when we came home.
"This trophy is also for them. I love them. I am thankful for their support in difficult and in better times.

Phibes: It's about time we introduced VAR for these awards, some shocking decisions here.
Matthew: Hazard over Salah? I'm thinking Salah might have just edged it last season...
Davestwin: No offense to Marta who is a great player but Sam Kerr wasn't even nominated and had dominated league and international play.
The Fifa Best Men's Award winner Luka Modric: "It is an amazing feeling. I feel so proud and honoured. It is a special night for me and a special moment in my career. It is a day to enjoy.
"This recognition that I am receiving from everyone is for me the most important thing. There is no prize for this.
"It is something really special and I am thankful to those who are there behind me and supporting me. So thank you!
On winning more awards: "We will see. I am not thinking about it now. I am just so happy that I have this award. There are so many great players in the world.
"It makes you feel proud and that your work is paying off. With this, all my dreams came true."
Mohamed Salah was not included in the FifPro World XI and was pipped to the Men's Best award by Luka Modric but he did win the Puskas Award.
Speaking to BBC Sport ahead of the awards ceremony, he said: "I’m sure it is not the last nomination because I always want to be better than last season.
"My favourite goal was the one against Everton because it was my first derby, but all of them were very important."
On playing for Egypt: "That was one of the best moments in my life and this is the dream for us as Egyptians, and human beings, to play at the World Cup.
"I'm sure I have a long time to play football."

Mubaraq: How did Mbappe make the Fifpro World XI team and Mo Salah is left out?
IJackson: A changing of the guard with neither Messi or Ronaldo named best player or attending the awards just shows what a difference a year makes.
The three finalists for the worst outfit of the night are:
Idris Elba, Dani Alves and Ronaldinho.
Sergio Ramos just missed out on the shortlist. Let me know who your winner is using #bbcfootball
Best Keeper of the Year Thibaut Courtois: "I am really proud. I had a good year with Chelsea and in the World Cup I was in my best form so I really enjoyed it.

Azgeda: Well deserved that one Modric, congratulations.
Paul Ogomigo: So here comes the end of CR7 - Messi Duopoly?
The last time neither Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi did not win the Men's Best or Ballon d'or award was back in 2007 when Kaka claimed the title.
Marta, this year's women's award winner, took home the accolade in that year too! She also won it in 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010 before tonight's victory.
Here's that Fifpro World XI team in full.

Chelsea_MKM: The man who does his talking on the pitch. Congratulations LukaKU Modric.
Ope: Surely the World Cup was never considered in handing the no.1 jersey to De Gea! Salah's omission is a step backwards and Kante's two steps forward. Fair deal!
Will Nicholls: So let me get this straight, 100 points last season, dominated the Premier League, multiple records broken, and yet 0 Man City players in the FIFA Team of the Year.
Germany manager Joachim Low speaking to BBC Sport before the awards were announced: "All the players who are nominated are very, very good. For me, this time Luka Modric was the best player in the last months.
"He was the leader in this amazing Croatian team. They reached the final [in the World Cup] nobody expected that.
"He did a great job and was really professional for Real Madrid. He was playing all the time at a high level. I would say this time he was the best."
"To be or not to be... We will always love football!" says Patrick Stewart.
Idris Elba wraps up the ceremony with "They say it's all over... it is now!"
There's tears in the audience from some as Luka Modric leaves the stage clutching his award.
Luka Modric: "It is a great honour and a beautiful feeling to stand here with this amazing trophy. First of all I would like to congratulate Mohamed and Cristiano.
"I am sure in the future you will have another opportunity to fight for this trophy.
"This award is not just mine. It is my teammates from Real Madrid and Croatia. Without my coaches I would not have won this. Without my family I would not be the player I am today.
"Thanks to my fans for all the great support and love they are showing me. It means a lot. Thanks to those who voted for me.
"I would just like to mention my footballing idol and former 1998 Croatia captain. He was my big inspiration and that team gave us belief we could create something in Russia.
"This award shows that we can all become the best with hard work and dedication. All your dreams can come true."
