Some popular players on Twitter tonight...

NicLewis: Iwobi is having one of the worst games I’ve seen for a while.

Michael Blyth: given that Iwobi's job is literally "professional footballer", he is genuinely awful at it

Scott Gerard: As much as I like Sissoko now that he's finally pulling his weight, is there a worse finisher in the PL? Not as bad as Rasiak mind.

Sho: Sissoko is so bad it's laughable

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 36 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Cracking effort! What a run from Jordon Ibe, an absolute enigma of a player. He picks it up in his own half, wide right, and slaloms across the pitch, leaving two men in his wake. He then finds Lys Mousset on the left of the area, he hits a first-timer curling back across goal but Kepa is alive and flies to his right to palm it away.

Bournemouth more than holding their own.

Only three constants in life. Death, taxes, and Son hitting the deck any time somebody breathes on him.

Lewis Keeffe: Cannot blame Arsenal's situation on not having Ozil. Spurs don't have Kane who you would expect to make a bigger difference. It's tactics and team not just a player. Hope poch gets some silverware especially if it could be the end of his time at Spurs

Artur Boruc is having a good game in the Cherries net - he stands up well to force Willian wide and makes a very good save indeed. David Brooks then goes down at the other end but picks himself up. No penalty shout.

I think they [Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Lucas Moura] both kicked each other, it's a clash of the top of the foot. They've both gone in wholeheartedly.

What a break by Spurs. They should have scored.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Lucas Moura both need treatment after that collision but it looks like they can both carry on.

Coolisha: Every time Ross Barkley gets the ball, he turns back and makes a pass to his own defender! That's England's finest. RLC should be playing the midfield from where he can make those marauding runs when he gets the ball! Barkley just kills the game with his reverse vision.

Patrick Brennan: Tonight's soundtrack is "Mkhitarian" *disappointed crowd groan*

  8. CLOSE!published at 30 mins

    Arsenal 0-1 Tottenham

Half a penalty shout for Arsenal as Lucas blocks/tackles Henrikh Mkhitaryan as he tries to smash in a shot on the edge of the area. They play on and Spurs have a great breakaway.

Son screams down the right, they work it to Moussa Sissoko on the edge of the area, it's just behind him and he laces it into the stands.

    Big chance!

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are a good watch. Even when they're under the cosh they remain a threat, they throw men forwards and Lys Mousset is in the wrong place to block a shot from David Brooks. He was offside, and in the way. Dream double.

    Nightmare double.

Danny Rose is in the thick of things. First he gives away a free-kick when Henrikh Mkhitaryan runs into him, and then he does well to block Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then drives an effort wide from the left of the area. Arsenal threatening.

What a pass. It was under his feet, in Arsenal's half and he seemed to dig it out after Sokratis fell over. A bit of a shambles. Alli put Son in from nowhere. What a pass!

It was a really good finish. He opened up the goal and curled it in the corner. I saw him do that two or three times in the warm-up.

Fine finish! Spurs go route one, Paulo Gazzaniga lumps a drop-kick downfield, Lucas battles for it, the ball drops to Dele Alli and he pings a dream of a pass over the top into the run of Son.

Cutting in from the right, Son digs the ball out from under his feet and then tucks home left-footed, right into the corner.

    No Kane? No problem.

A lovely ball through almost finds Olivier Giroud, he's onside and beyond the last defender but the pass is just overhit. Giroud looks to the skies in frustration and then seconds later has a shot well saved.

  17. CLOSE!published at 16 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth

Chelsea possession, Chelsea possession, Chelsea possession, Chelsea possession, Chelsea possession, Chelsea possession, Chelsea possession, Bournemouth break!

One pass is all it takes and it's two on two, Lys Mousset shows great pace to drive through the centre and find Callum Wilson with a well-weighted through ball. He's just inside the area, on the righ-hand side, drags his first-time shot across Kepa in goal but also wide of the target.

Good chance for the Cherries. They may not get a better one.

It should be 1-0. He's one on one, 10 yards out. He sort of hits the keeper. It's one of the worst one-on-one finishes I've ever seen. I don't know why Spurs were so square.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 12 mins

    Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Ah what a chance! Spurs' back four is made to look very makeshift indeed as Henrikh Mkhitaryan plays a sharp one-two with Aaron Ramsey and the space just opens up.

The Armenian is one on one with Paulo Gazzaniga, he has so much time, and he just hits a tame shot right at the keeper.

    Not far off a sitter...
