Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin has told fans engaging in "offensive singing and behaviour" to "stay away" from the Premier League club.

Chelsea and the Metropolitan Police are investigating claims Manchester City's Raheem Sterling was racially abused at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.

Anti-Semitic chants were then heard during the Stamford Bridge club's Europa League tie with MOL Vidi.

Nevin said he found it "anger-inducing and downright embarrassing".

Chelsea have suspended four fans while an investigation into the alleged racial abuse of Sterling takes place.

Nevin, a BBC football analyst, said recent wins over Brighton and Premier League rivals Manchester City meant "things should be hunky dory at the club" but they are "not by a long way".

Bournemouth are aiming to reach the last four of a major cup competition for the first time.

Chelsea beat the Cherries 2-1 at the same stage of this competition 12 months ago, but Bournemouth have lost six of their last seven league matches since their 2-1 fourth-round win over Norwich City.

However, boss Eddie Howe is hopeful of making some club history by beating a Blues side that are fourth in the Premier League.

He said: "It's well documented that we've never been in a major cup semi-final before, so what greater incentive can we have? We're very excited to try and make that happen.

"We have a massive hurdle to overcome, one I really want my players and staff to relish and try to rise to.

"It's a great game for us, we're very excited to be in the competition and trying to get to the semi-final."

Breathtaking arrogance from Man Utd (club and fans) that they can waltz in and tempt any manager away they want. Probably need to take a good long look in the mirror first at how far they've fallen since SAF left.

I'm a Tottenham fan. Why on earth would he downgrade? It's a huge downgrade. He's loyal and I also think it's incredibly disrespectful to discuss it during the season. Trying to distract us?

Chelsea assistant manager Gianfranco Zola says Bournemouth and England striker Callum Wilson is "of interest".

Wilson, 26, has been linked with a January move to Stamford Bridge after an impressive start to the season, and Zola feels he "has a lot of qualities".

"I'm sure there are a lot of players linked with us," said Zola.

"Callum is doing well and is of interest not only for us but for many."

Wilson has scored nine goals in 18 matches in all competitions for the Cherries this season and also netted on his England debut against the United States last month.

Sulaimon Adelekan: Poch won't leave Spurs for Manchester United at the end of the season. He is an integral part of the ongoing success at the club. Unai Emery has done an incredible job at Arsenal, the belief and courage at the club is amazing at the moment

    Pochettino remains 'focused' at Tottenham

It would be nice to get a few minutes into a live page without mentioning the change of manager at Manchester United BUT with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino on the reported shortlist there is some relevance to tonight's action, I'm afraid.

Poch will no doubt face more questions between now and the end of the season. Will he stay at Spurs beyond this season?
