  1. goal

GOAL - Red Star Belgrade 0-2 Paris St-Germainpublished at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2018

    Neymar

Breathing space for PSG. Neymar does what a £200m footballer should do, using poise and patience to pick his spot with a clinical finish.

That's after collecting a peach of a pass from another man who also cost the same as a GDP of small Pacific island - Kylian Mbappe.

Looks like a straight shootout between Liverpool and Napoli...

    Barcelona 1-0 Tottenham

Harry Kane smashes a shot on goal from a tight angle and wins a corner that again Spurs cannot profit from.

As is stands, Spurs are going through too - but only thanks to PSV's scoreline at Inter Milan.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2018

    Liverpool 1-0 Napoli

Kalidou Koulibaly with a 'robust' challenge on Mohamed Salah. He clattered him. Into the book he goes.

  8. 'Liverpool are asking for trouble'published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2018

    Liverpool 1-0 Napoli

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Since Liverpool have scored, Napoli have had two or three dangerous attacks. Liverpool have come off the pace and they are asking for trouble.

    Liverpool 1-0 Napoli

Liverpool sent a little warning as space opens up for Napoli down the left wing. It's so hard to keep a hold on players like Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens.

The Italians will want to end this half the stronger and build from there. There are a few tears in the away end already.

  10. Liverpool's pressure gets its rewardpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2018

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

Liverpool had been pushing Napoli further and further back and there was a sense the goal was coming. Fair for say Napoli keeper David Ospina did not cover himself in glory with the manner in which he was beaten at his near post - but not many people in here care.

    Barcelona 1-0 Tottenham

Barcelona have found the back of the net in 28 of their last 29 Champions League home games.

Son Heung-min with another poor effort. There is no power on this dribbling low effort from the edge of the box. Another great driving run from Moussa Sissoko - the man transformed - to set him up.

What a time to score. Ten minutes before the break.

Red Star Belgrade 0-1 Paris St-Germain

"Ooooooh!" is probably the noise which Thomas Tuchel is making in his head. The PSG manager puffs out his cheeks as he watches his side twice go close to doubling their lead.

First Neymar cuts in from the left and unleashes a fierce shot which the Red Star keeper saves, before Angel di Maria flashes a shot just wide seconds later.

  15. 'Where is the goalkeeper'?published at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2018

    Liverpool 1-0 Napoli

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

Where is the goalkeeper? He tries to read the cross and goes early but he leaves a gap between his legs. Liverpool lead.

    Mohamed Salah

    There it is!

Vintage Mohamed Salah. He is played into the box and buys himself space with a little shrug-turn on his marker. Kalidou Koulibaly can't hold him - try as he might with a grab on the red shirt moving past him.

Salah looks across goal again - but sends it instead straight through David Ospina's legs. A cool, cool finish.

  17. CHANCE!published at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2018

    Liverpool 0-0 Napoli

Mohamed Salah set free down the right and he closes in on goal. He looks for the cut-back with his team-mates loading up, but Raul Albiol stands big to fence away his little chip.

Still we wait for a big chance.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2018

    Barcelona 1-0 Tottenham

What a chance. A huge moment.

Son Heung-min is through on goal, with time to think on the finish.

Jasper Cillessen just stands big - and when the moment comes he stretches down to block with his legs. Son had to find the net there.

    Liverpool 0-0 Napoli

This match has certainly lived up to the pre-match hype, although there is just one thing missing.

    A shot on target.

None of Liverpool's four efforts - from James Milner (7), Roberto Firmino (9) and Jordan Henderson (14) - have tested David Ospina, while Marek Hamsik (17) fired narrowly over the home bar.

    Barcelona 1-0 Tottenham

This is a good spell for Spurs. They win another dangerous free-kick on the edge of the Barca box. Thomas Vermaelen with an untidy lunge on Christian Eriksen - possibly deserving of a yellow. He didn't look in control.

Harry Kane has picked the ball up. He strikes it straight into the two-man wall.
