    Tottenham 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Spurs now looking to build up a head of steam as Christian Eriksen's fine cross is hacked out, before Juan Foyth then motors down the wing and puts in a cross which Eriksen loops over the top. Good stuff from Foyth, stepping out of the back three.

Chris Mitchell: Jadon Sancho is one special talent. Just a shame we can’t produce players like him and allow them to flourish in the PL

Theo HV: Sancho making playing in the Champions League look like a kickabout in the park... scary skills from the teenager

Manek: Watching Spurs vs BvB from Auckland this morning, Sancho exciting talent.

Off the post! Ah that's almost a beauty from Dusan Tadic, spinning to reach a knock-down inside the area, off balance but slicing off his left foot and seeing the strike hit the outside of the post on its way out of play.

    Unlucky!

After a slow start Borussia Dortmund are starting to threaten. Spurs pushed back and already one or two signs of Jadon Sancho's attacking intent.

And all played out to the soundtrack of noisy Dortmund support. Their side look dangerous.

Jadon Sancho has seen plenty of the ball. He's enjoying himself on that right wing. Tottenham's Son Heung-min has only had six touches and none in the box. The Spurs man is making plenty of dangerous runs but his teammates can't find him at the moment.

    Permission to get excited?

That was wonderful, and it all started with Jadon Sancho dancing past two men on halfway and linking up beautifully with Christian Pulisic and Mario Gotze. All one-touch stuff, the yellows build all the way down the right wing and make their way into the area, but in the end Pulisic's shot hits his own man and spins out o fplay.

First real highlight from Jadon Sancho who finds space on the right and skins Davinson Sanchez, he motors into the box and could probably keep going but instead tries to put in a cross and Juan Foyth cuts it out well. Decisions?
