Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Tottenham (Agg: 0-3)

Spurs very much on the collective back foot. Feet?

Dortmund pressing them back, making the pitch big, spreading the play. Dortmund are basically only playing two at the back.

    Hello!

Well, well. Ajax were absolutely outstanding in the first leg, unlucky to lose, and they are level in the tie, albeit still behind on away goals.

Dusan Tadic, another allowed to leave the Saints nest too soon, tees up Hakim Ziyech for a confident, stroked finish into the back of the net. Fine goal!

  3. Postpublished at 6 mins

Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Tottenham (Agg: 0-3)

Dortmund are getting somewhere now though, Jadon Sancho skips past Son on the Dortmund right and fires in a cracking low cross, Davinson Sanchez does just about enough to clear his lines.

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tottenham look very compact. They're letting Dortmund have the ball at the back but it's not a problem because they're not going anywhere.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 3 mins

Real Madrid 0-0 Ajax (Agg: 2-1)

Early chance! Very close as well as Lucas Vazquez puts over a beauty of a cross from the right and Real centre-half Raphael Varane smashes a header against the bar!

  6. Postpublished at 1 mins

Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Tottenham (Agg: 0-3)

Some good old school, behind the iron curtain whistling as Tottenham have a lengthy spell of possession. Harry Kane then looks on bemused as Julian Weigl throws himself to earth under a negligible challenge.

Toby Alderweireld and Son are both on a booking by the way.

The tifo in the Yellow Wall was indeed a huge European Cup, recalling Dortmund's Champions League win back in 1997.

They'll need a massive, famous win this evening to stay in the cup...

I can't understand why Poch likes to use this 3 centre backs formation.. We look ineffective on the attacking front and unbalanced.. we will go through but doubt the performance will be good.

    Nate

Really talking Dortmund up here. If Tottenham lose it will be because they lost their bottle.

    Lobster

I think Spurs will do well to get through this. We're lower on confidence than at any point in the last 5 years domestically where we haven't played well for at least 8 games. If they score inside 10, its over.

Alisdair: I'm being very Spursy mentally - just hope the team aren't.

Daniel Potter: 3rd different formation in 3 games. Nothing like consistency, hey Poch, Sanchez will cost us one goal, Aurier another, spurs to slow and fast 3-0 there already. Spurs fan!

Bradley Bicknell: 1 or 2 early goals for Dortmund makes this very interesting.

Shamim: Fully expecting an early goal for Dortmund in today's Champions League tie between DORTOT. THFC have made a recent habit of conceding early goals. Nerves, I think.

A Spurs goal certainly feels like it would be the coffin nail in this tie. Son loves a goal against Dortmund too, he's scored nine goals in 11 games in all competitions against them, more than he has against any other side in his senior club career.

Dave Payn: Arsenal fan here but certainly not on a wind-up. Can’t see Spurs failing. I know Dortmund haven’t yet conceded at home in the CL but I reckon Spurs will score and then Dortmund will have to score five. Can’t see that happening.
