I think it would be naive for Manchester United to go with anything other than three at the back, against a team that's as good as Paris St-Germain and are 2-0 up.

You've also not got any back-up other than a bunch of kids to come on, good though they may be.

United can still play two up front so I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made the right choice.

Nicolo Zaniolo's two goals gave Roma the edge over Porto in their Champions League last-16 first leg.

The teenager, one of Roma's few bright sparks in a poor season, controlled Edin Dzeko's pass before drilling a low effort past Iker Casillas.

He added a second from six yards out after Dzeko's 20-yard shot hit the post.

But Porto got an away goal when Adrian Lopez scored after Tiquinho Soares' mis-hit shot landed in his path.

Jason Davidge: If Solskjaer pulls this one off you can forget the United job, he’ll be in for the Real job instead.

Bezaleel Adewumi: Tonight, Manchester United have to make a statement. Not just any statement but a statement of intent. This is the time for OGS to tell the boys how Manchester United bounced back at Nou Camp in 1999 to win the trophy. That will surely help the players.

James Lorimer: If United get stuck in from the get go they have a chance. PSG won't be used to that. Sit back at your peril.

Manchester United must mount a miraculous recovery operation to keep their Champions League campaign alive after they were overpowered by Paris St-Germain at Old Trafford.

Second-half goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe secured victory for the French champions, with Paul Pogba sent off for two yellow cards late on.

United's revival under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer raised hopes that this was the night they could reclaim their place in Europe's elite.

Instead, they were outclassed by PSG to suffer their first European home defeat by a margin of more than one goal and will now need to produce something remarkable in Paris to stand a chance of advancing to the Champions League quarter-finals.
