    Mark Lawrenson
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tactically Liverpool have got this second half 100% right. We said at half-time for Liverpool to keep it tight at the back, but still remain a threat and that is what they have done.

The quality of the ball from Mo Salah is absolutely brilliant, outside of the left foot, behind Hummels and there is Mane. A brilliant, brilliant goal.

Lionel Messi sends Marcelo one way, jinks onto his right and strokes it towards goal. The keeper should do better, but it dribbles past him and into the right corner.

Cheshbear: Bayern need to score two goals in 15 minutes. Can't forget Lewandowski scored five in something like 12 minutes. From a not entirely settled Liverpool fan.

Mark Davies: Van Dijk must be the premier central defender in football. He scores goals, he has great positional sense, he can play and is calm and composed. If I was Zidane, I would ask Liverpool to name their price.

Amrul Choudhury: This is by far the worst Bayern Munich side I have seen. There is a reason why James Rodriguez did not make it at Real Madrid. Wholesale changes needed for Bayern.

  19. CLOSE!published at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2019

Mohamed Salah and Georginio Wijnaldum combine nicely down the right to set off a Liverpool counter-attack.
