    Dangerous signs for Liverpool.

Noel Fitzpatrick: That's not the first time Matip has scored that goal! He's got to improve his body positioning!

Ash Williams: The one thing Matip is good at it is never sorting his feet out. He’s like Bambi on ice.

Khan Karn: Matip has done well when he’s deputised but Liverpool have really missed Joe Gomez. Massively underrated.

  10. 'Poor goal to concede'published at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2019

    Bayern Munich 1-1 Liverpool

    Mark Lawrenson
Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is an equaliser and Liverpool have not been in any danger but that is a poor goal to concede.

The problem for Joel Matip is he's going back towards his goal and if he doesn't get anything on it, it's going to go in anyway.

    Game on.

Serge Gnabry has space in the box and he smashes a shot across goal. Joel Matip sticks out a leg which deflects the ball into the back of the net.

If he hadn't scored, Robert Lewandowski would have. He was completely unmarked at the back post.

    Bayern Munich 0-1 Liverpool

Joel Matip does brilliantly to stick a toe out and win the ball on the edge of the Liverpool area. It sets up a quick counter-attack for Liverpool - Roberto Firmino to Mohamed Salah.

  13. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2019

    Barcelona 2-0 Lyon

Barca are enjoying themselves. Luis Suarez completely mugs a player in midfield with a cute little dummy.

Lionel Messi then plays a long ball forward which somehow gets through and Suarez' shot is saved.

  14. CLOSE!published at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2019

Sadio Mane plays it through to Andy Robertson on the left but it's a tight angle for the full-back and his powerful shot is palmed away for a corner at the near post.

Paul: What the hell was Manuel Neuer doing for that Liverpool goal? Absolutely pathetic.

Dikachi: Excellent, excellent goal by Mane. Neuer still at his World Cup form apparently. Where on earth was he going?

Ricology: That brilliant first touch had dismantled Bayern's defence in a second. What a precious solo goal.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2019

    Barcelona 2-0 Lyon

On comes Lyon's reserve keeper Mathieu Gorgelin. He's played 35 professional games of football in his life.

He'll be fine against Lionel Messi, I'm sure.

It's played into Luis Suarez' feet just inside the area and slices the defence apart. He only has to slip it left to Philippe Coutinho, who is completely unmarked and just pokes it into an empty net.
