You can almost feel the roar that greets the end of the anthem from back home in Salford.
The place looks great, sounds great. Let's make it a great game.
John Murray raises the prospect of extra-time and penalties. We could be here all night...
Here we go! At last!
It feels like we've been waiting for so long to get this game on the way. The two sides flank the famous old trophy on their way into the middle.

The players are in the tunnel, there's still plenty of infrastructure on the surface needing tidying up, we might get a slightly late kick-off here.
Ledley King and Ian Rush place the trophy on the plinth...big.

It's about having no regrets.
Put everything out on the pitch.
Give it everything you know you can give. Come off that pitch knowing you couldn't have done more.

Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp on BT Sport, reflecting on Kane's inclusion and the favourites tag his side seem to have:
"We expected it [Kane starting], but even if Lucas Moura had played they had massibe quality up front
"I don’t know how to feel as a favourite, but I feel we are ready. I don’t know if we are favourites, last year we were outsiders. It will be tense and tight, it always is when these two teams play. That’s all I need to know."

Richard Cumiskey: This is what the atmosphere should have been like on Wednesday. At least Uefa have done right for the Champions League final.
Dennis Ethan: Mauricio Pochettino about to prove why he's the BEST manager in England right now.
Harrison Iyere: Liverpool all the way, fully kitted in red waiting for the big kick off from Toronto Canada.

Tottenham Hotspur
Mauricio Pochettino on Harry Kane's inclusion, speaking to BT Sport:
"I think we believed and we felt that in last few weeks he was ready to compete. We give him time to feel that emotion and determination, and yesterday we confirmed that he was ready.
"This is the first time we have had (all) the squad to select from and that's important,At times during the season sometimes we didn’t. We have amazing impact players like Lucas, Fernando Llorente, Lamela."
No Rabbit unfortunately, as Imagine Dragons kick off a little pre-match set. I can only just hear it underneath Sean Dyche in my cans but the drum tech has got a good sound.

Play the game, not the occasion.
It's about switching on, being ready for the individual battles.
It's time to switch on, you can't start slowly. The managers will be trying to calm the players down because they will be pumped!

Spurs are the 40th club to reach the European Cup final, and the first newcomers since Chelsea in 2008.
They could become the 23rd side to win the European Cup, and the first new name on the trophy since Chelsea's 2012 triumph.
Remarkably, considering that looks like a pretty-much first-choice Liverpool XI, it's actually the first time they have all started a game together...

With Christian Eriksen and the players around him - Dele Alli, Heung-min Son - they know their roles and between the three of them they can mix and match.
Obviously Harry Kane is the kingpin but around him are dynamic players who can all offer a threat.
Equally, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson offer a fantastic assist rate for Liverpool so the question is can Tottenham push them back?
Everyone will be entering their own zone now. It's almost time to zone out now, can you lock in all your knowledge from this season and trust you know what you're doing to free yourself up to perform?

Liverpool just edge the goalkeeper department. It’s so tight between the two sides when you talk about the outfield players.
The centre backs are strong, full backs are bold going forward, midfielders will cancel each other out and you can say who’s night is it going to be out of the front men?
It could go either way but for me but Liverpool edge the goalkeeper department and I think that’ll be the difference.
I get more nervous watching Liverpool as a fan. I couldn’t handle the Barcelona game.
It will be a very narrow Liverpool win. I think the hurt and pain from last year will get them over the line.
I think for my 21st it was eight pints of Castlemaine XXXX and a Masala naan from popadom palace.
A trip to Madison Square Garden?!
