Howler. I can't say much more than that. Craig Gordon will know that. It's a lack of concentration, of not knowing where his man is, and he's cost his side.

Celtic need two goals in eight minutes, or for Rosenborg to find an equaliser against Leipzig...

GOAL - Celtic 0-2 RB Salzburgpublished at 21:36 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2018

    Fredrik Gulbrandsen (77 mins)

    Oh noooo....

He's been excellent all night but that is a real horror show from Craig Gordon. Loris Karius style.

He tries to throw the ball out quickly, and Fredrik Gulbrandsen is right there, inches from his face. It hits Gulbrandsen on the heel, and he has an open goal to tap it into.

Paul: I hope Elneny and his sideways and backward passing hasn't got ambitions of being a first team regular anytime soon. He will never displace Xhaka or Torreira.

Kyle: No more than Salzburg deserve they wouldn't look out of place in the Champions League they've been excellent and could go on and score another goal or 2 and finish the job in style. Celtic are ordinary at best.

  8. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2018

    Arsenal 1-0 Qarabag

    Well, that was almost brilliant.

Eddie Nketiah carries the ball a good 45 yards up the pitch before he just falls over his own feet a touch at the last minute.

He spreads it out wide though, Bukayo Saka skips past a defender and throws in a lovely cross with his left foot, Nketiah gets on it and heads home.

    Offside though. And he was...

Salzburg are very good, but this is an awful performance from Celtic. Really surprised.

  10. Milan in - out - in..?published at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2018

    Olympiakos 2-1 AC Milan

Olympiakos moved into second spot momentarily as they doubled their lead through Cristian Zapata's own goal.

But AC Milan pulled one back within seconds as Zapata made amends down the other end.

The Greek side need another goal now or Milan are going through.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2018

    Arsenal 1-0 Qarabag

It's been a bit like his own testimonial, and Laurent Koscielny is applauded off after 70 minues on his return. Nacho Monreal comes on for the last knockings.

Bukayo Saka has another shot on target, easily saved but he looks a bag of tricks this lad. Get him out on loan.

    Arsenal 1-0 Qarabag

Well there's been nothing happening in the half at all but all of a sudden a sensational run from Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who has moved into midfield, cuts Qarabag open. He lays it back for Bukayo Saka, but his shot is deflected away for a corner.

Saka then tees up Mesut Ozil, but his shot is charged down.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2018

    Arsenal 1-0 Qarabag

Alexandre Lacazette is excused, off he comes for the last half hour. Arsenal send on centre-back Zech Medley so there will be a reshuffle. Not that it really matters.

    Olympiakos 1-0 AC Milan

Olympiakos have gone in front against AC Milan.

Pape Abou Cisse's goal means the Greek side need just one more goal to go through at the Italian giants' expense.

Just under half an hour left in that one.

  18. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2018

    Arsenal 1-0 Qarabag

A very rare chance for Qarabag - Emiliano Martinez in the Arsenal goal comes for a corner, doesn't get there, and it's headed over the top by Donald Guerrier.

Seriously good Salzburg side, this. Champions League level. Celtic not getting close to them in midfield. Loads of space. Big job ahead.

Mesut Ozil's face is a picture. He puts a free-kick on the head of Sokratis, and the former Dortmund man screws a header absolutely miles wide. Yards, yards, yards wide.
