    MOL Vidi 2-1 Chelsea

A Chelsea goal is incoming. Surely.

First Callum Hudson-Odoi cuts in from the left and hits a curler which is easy for Vidi keeper Adam Kovacsik to pouch, and then Pedro slides a shot wide after a neat ball picked him out free at the far post.

    Into the last 20 minutes.

Just because Kane scores 30 plus a season does not mean Spurs' goals come from a single person. Several of our players get into double figures. One season Kane, Son and Alli all got over 20 goals. Yes Kane is an important player for us but he is not the only goalscorer.

Almost another brilliant volley! Olivier Giroud lets the ball come across him this time and smashes in a volley, but it clears the crossbar by a few feet. Some connection!

Wanted: Chelsea losing to Vidi isn't bad but Man United got lots of stick for losing to Valencia?

    MOL Vidi 2-1 Chelsea

Ah, a great chance! Olivier Giroud should score I think. Ruben Loftus-Cheek fires over a wonderful cros from the left, Olivier Giroud makes the run across his marker and gets there first. He goes for a flick with the outside of his left foot, and puts it wide.

Had to let that run across him...

Chelsea are seeing plenty of the ball, as ever. They force a few corners as they look for a response to that stunning goal, sub Olivier Giroud guides a header wide.

Ranges have half an hour to find a winner which would send them into the knockout stage. A draw is no good for Steven Gerrard and co.

It may be a dead rubber but you'd think this will still be a win worth celebrating for Vidi. I tried not to make that sentence sound patronising, not sure I managed it.

Chelsea have half an hour to find a way back into the game. Or not. I mean, it has no consequence whatsoever.

    Loic Nego (56 mins)

Oh yes! What a goal that is! The best goal he'll ever score in his life, surely! A shame it is slightly wasted in a dead rubber. But still...

Georgi Milanov stands up a cross from the left, it is watched all the way onto the instep of Loic Nego, and he thrashes a picture-perfect volley past Willy Caballero and in at the near post.

A brilliant goal from the former Charlton man.

    Arsenal

Arsenal make nine changes to the team that beat Huddersfield 1-0 on Saturday.

Qarabag make three changes to the side that beat Zira 6-0 in the Azerbaijani Premier League on Sunday.

The free-kick was really poor when it came in. The fact that Bate are 3-0 up in the other game means that Vidi know that they are pretty much out whatever happens now. The game has tailed off as a result.
