Looks like Dinamo Zagreb are heading into the last 16 as Bruno Petkovic gives them a 3-0 lead on the night against Viktoria Plzen and makes it 4-2 on aggregate.

Sardar Azmoun's second goal has put Zenit St Petersburg back in front on aggregate, 3-2 against Fenerbahce, while Villarreal are now heading through against 10-man Sporting Lisbon after a late goal by Pablo Fornals.

  2. Does Sarri have one eye on the cup?published at 19:34 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2019

    Chelsea v Malmo (2-1 Agg, 20:00 GMT)

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport at Stamford Bridge

So are Maurizio Sarri's five unforced changes a sign he has yielded to fans criticisms or has one eye on Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Manchester City?

Given his stubborn streak, it's more likely the latter, but perhaps it could get the supporters back onside regardless.

Much will rest on whether N'Golo Kante finally gets to drop into the Jorginho role (a phrase which seems back to front) or whether Mateo Kovacic keeps the French international in a wider position.

Arsenal 3-0 Bate Borisov (3-1 Agg)

Interestingly, Arsenal are third favourites to win the Europa League behind Napoli and Chelsea...

  4. Postpublished at 77 mins

Arsenal 3-0 Bate Borisov (3-1 Agg)

Has Mesut Ozil done enough to play his way into Arsenal's Premier League XI tonight? I wonder. He has been involved and looked classy, but he should be against Bate Borisov, you would think.

Denis Suarez comes on for Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the closing stages. Arsenal face Southampton on Sunday afternoon.

  5. Postpublished at 74 mins

Arsenal 3-0 Bate Borisov (3-1 Agg)

Both sides just running down the clock now in all honesty, although Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has gone close with a chip over the keeper which drifted wide.

All three Arsenal goals have come from defenders. Maybe we should play a team of 11 defenders in future - might even sort out some problems at the back as well!

    Dom, Cornwall

For all those slating Mkhy, he scored more goals for us in fewer games than time at Man Utd. He was also was key in getting Aubameyang.

Shakhtar Donetsk have pulled one back at Eintracht Frankfurt so another goal for them will take that tie into extra-time.

Viktoria Plzen also need just one goal at Dinamo Zagreb for extra-time while Villarreal and Sporting Lisbon will be playing for another half an hour if it stays like it is. Sporting are down to 10 men though.

  8. goal

    GOAL - Valencia 1-0 Celtic (3-0 Agg)published at 70 mins

    Kevin Gameiro

Just like Sokratis for Arsenal, Kevin Gameiro scores within moments of coming on. It's been coming as Celtic tire but it's a scruffy finish, the striker getting a thigh to a bouncing ball to pop it through the legs of the Celtic keeper. Unlucky.

  9. CLOSE!published at 67 mins

Arsenal 3-0 Bate Borisov (3-1 Agg)

Should score! Igor Stasevich gets a weird connection on his clearance, only shanking it right up into the air above his own head, an Arsenal head wins the challenge and nods it down and Mesut Ozil lazily wafts a boot at it and puts it wide. DId he think he was offside? Maybe.

  10. CLOSE!published at 65 mins

    Valencia 0-0 Celtic (2-0 Agg)

Celtic ought to be ahead - and, as was the case in the first half, Kristoffer Ajer squanders their best chance.

Ryan Christie curls an excellent free-kick deep into the Valencia penalty box.

The Norwegian rises unmarked with only goalkeeper Neto to beat but heads over from 10 yards.

    Great chance!

Arsenal 3-0 Bate Borisov (3-1 Agg)

Another change - off goes Matteo Guendouzi, on comes Lucas Torreira.

  12. goal

    GOAL - Arsenal 3-0 Bate Borisov (3-1 Agg)published at 60 mins

    Sokratis

He's only just come on! Arsenal have surely wrapped this one up now with a horrible goal to concede. It's another inswinging corner from the right, Bate goalkeeper Denis Scherbitksi comes out with zero conviction and completely misses the ball, allowing Sokratis to head into an open goal while facing the other way...

Shuga: Arsenal is finally playing their level in the Europa league, with a Europa winning coach playing a proper Europa Cup team.

Dave Payn: Jon Ryan, who was responsible for getting Arsenal into the Europa League to play the likes of BATE Borisov in the first place?

Akshay Chalke: I think we all know why Peter Czech is retiring. From the heights of Carvalho & Terry at Chelsea to the laughing stock of Mustafi & Koscielny at Arsenal, he must be wondering what did I get into! Arsenal’s backline has the ability to worry everyone.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 59 mins

Arsenal 2-0 Bate Borisov (2-1 Agg)

And now Aleksandr Hleb gets a great ovation as he comes on against his old club. He only decided to carry on playing after Borisov drew the Gunners and that's a lovely reception.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 56 mins

Arsenal 2-0 Bate Borisov (2-1 Agg)

The good news for Arsenal? Sokratis is coming on after a spell out with injury.

The bad news for Arsenal? That looks like another injury for Laurent Koscielny.

Hopefully nothing serious but the Frenchman has been limping and grimacing for the last few minutes and heads off for some treatment.

Dear Not Jamesy. You can have Sanchez and keep Mkhy as well.

    Dave, Altrincham

To all the naysayers, this is the start of the Unai Emery era he is rebuilding the team and is in the process of getting rid of the dead wood within the spending constraints of the owners. Give the guy a break.

Arsenal 2-0 Bate Borisov (2-1 Agg)

Good save! Alex Iwobi should probably do better though after being played in by Mesut Ozil, he tries to bend low into the far corner but Denis Scherbitski pushes it clear.

Shooootttttt!!! is the cry from behind the goal as Henrikh Mkhitaryan finds Granit Xhaka 25 yards out from goal, the Swiss winds up and blasts a shot way over the top. Arsenal looking for a killer third.

Just seen the Chelsea line-up. Bet Sarri still finds a way to sub Kovacic for Barkley despite both of them starting. Wouldn't be surprised to see Pedro make an appearance for Willian at some point either despite not being in the squad.

    Josh Hunt

If I had one I would put my house on it that Sarri will play Kovaćic in that holding role and Kanté further forward. Think he might need a change of glasses?

  20. CLOSE!published at 48 mins

Arsenal 2-0 Bate Borisov (2-1 Agg)

Matteo Guendouzi goes for a big curler from 25 yards and puts it a few yards wide. Good hit though!
