You can see the dodgy pitch break up under Willian's feet as he runs with the ball. Like ice cracking on a lake.

Olivier Giroud has either scored or assisted in each of his last four starts for Chelsea - three goals and one assist).

Dynamo Kiev 0-1 Chelsea (0-4 agg)

Dynamo Kiev would need to score five goals now because of the away goal rule.

If this was the Champions League then I might believe it could happen...

    Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud just makes sure there is zero chance of any real drama in Ukraine.

Willian's corner is flicked on by the head of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Giroud pops up six yards out to turn the ball home.

    Tie over.

Antonio Rudiger half-clears the corner and Mykola Shaparenko completely air-kicks the ball from the edge of the box.

They still haven't had a shot on target in this tie.

Dynamo Kiev 0-0 Chelsea (0-3 agg)

An early Dynamo goal might make things interesting. And Davide Zappacosta does well to turn a dangerous free-kick over his own bar.

Dynamo Kiev v Chelsea (17:55 GMT)

Dynamo Kiev reached the semi-final of the Uefa Cup in 2008-09 before losing to domestic rivals Shakhtar Donetsk.

But they have not managed to go further than the quarter-finals in six attempts since the competition was rebranded as the Europa League.

Those appearances in the last eight came in 2011 and 2015, when they went out to Braga and Fiorentina.

  11. Hazard to Real Madrid?published at 17:53 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2019

Dynamo Kiev v Chelsea (17:55 GMT)

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been linked to Real Madrid, even more so after Zinedine Zidane's return as manager.

The 28-year-old Belgian has previously described Real as his "dream" move and Zidane his "idol".

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri said: "I don’t know, you have to ask Hazard. I didn’t speak with Eden about Zidane so I don’t know.

"I am not worried because you know very well my opinion. I only want players in my team who want to play for Chelsea, so I cannot be worried."

Blues team-mate Willian says "no doubt, he's focused here".

The Brazilian added: "He's never said something about Real Madrid or stuff like this. He just wants to continue to play for Chelsea."

Andriy Shevchenko is the highest profile player to play for both Chelsea and Dynamo Kiev.

The Ukraine manager was speaking to the Blues website about tonight's game: "Chelsea are very good with a lot of experience. Kiev are a very young team with less experience.

"I expect a great atmosphere, Chelsea already played there a few years ago in the Champions League. It’s always warm [atmosphere] in stadiums in Ukraine."
