  1. Goodbye!published at 21:23 British Summer Time 9 October 2018

While Phil Neville continues to simmer, it is time for us to disappear.

If you've only just tuned in (shame on you), then catch up with what happened at Fulham in Rob Stevens' match report.

Clue: England should have won. Cheerio!

  2. 'Referee should have been braver'published at 21:20 British Summer Time 9 October 2018

    England 1-1 Australia

More from Phil Neville on some contentious decisions which didn't go in England's favour: "Beth Mead's not dived for the first decision - there’s clear contact.

"I don’t know why the referee looks at the assistant she should be brave enough to make the decision herself.

"I was obviously angry but we’ve worked hard over the last few days and to come out with two wins against Brazil and Australia would have been fantastic for our confidence but we'll look back on both games and say 'we need to take our chances'.

"I’ve seen more out of the team tonight than I have in the last six/seven months, I learnt so much tonight, for a team that haven’t played together for the longest amount of time I think they were excellent.

"But once again with the chances we had we have to be winning these games."

  3. Maybe this is a reality check - Nevillepublished at 21:19 British Summer Time 9 October 2018

    England 1-1 Australia

More from Phil Neville as he talks while watching several of England's wasted chances: "These are chances that they stick away in the WSL - ruthlessness is what we need.

"Once the anger and emotion goes away we will look back and say we've played some good stuff. But we have to win the game.

"People are saying we're on the crest of a wave, we can the World Cup, attendances are up. That's great but maybe tonight was a reality check in what we actually have to do."

  4. 'We have to be winning these games'published at 21:16 British Summer Time 9 October 2018

    England 1-1 Australia

England manager Phil Neville talking to BT Sport: "I knew what was coming, they had good delivery from that right hand side, they’re bigger, taller and I knew if I they got more set pieces they’d get the goal.

"We weren’t ruthless again, we had so many one on ones, we should have had two penalties, it's best we don’t mention the referees regarding some decisions.

"If you look at Australia where they are this season we should beat them."

P Nev has calmed down. Outwardly at least.

"It's best we don't speak about the referee," he says.

The words 'careless', 'ruthless' and 'ragged' are the key words from the former Manchester United and England defender.

    Full quotes to come...

Phil Neville has (possibly) counted to 10, glugged a glass of water and taken a deep breath or three.

Now he has (probably) calmed down and ready to face the television cameras for his post-match interview.

  7. 'It's football it happens'published at 21:06 British Summer Time 9 October 2018

    England 1-1 Australia

England defender Lucy Bronze speaking to BT Sport: "We had a few chances in the first half and loads in the second, we should have been four or five up.

"We’re annoyed to lose a goal to a set piece but that’s football and we have to learn from it for the next game.

"I’ve not seen the decisions back but it's football it happens, we’ve just got to play twice as good if decisions aren’t going to go our way."

England forward Fran Kirby, speaking to BT Sport: "They had a lot more aggression than what Brazil had, they played more than they did and and they realised where we were vulnerable.

"They have height in their team and can score from set pieces. We can look at how we are more ruthless in front of goal and also at defending set pieces."

There will be questions of 'How did they not win it?' but they just didn't take their chances. When you switch off for that one set piece you let the opposition get back into the game.

When you look back at how many chances England had in the game, you can see that they need to work on what they do in the final third of the pitch.

And that is that. The referee blows the full-time whistle before getting an ear-bashing from a very unhappy Phil Neville.

Disappointing delivery from Greenwood there it's not what you expect from her or at this time of the game.

I have to say I'm quite frustrated right now, England have dominated and should be winning, everyone will see the 1-1 scoreline and think Australia can cause some problems at the World Cup, not the performance of England.

FOUR minutes of stoppage time for England to nab the win which they should have wrapped up about an hour ago.
